tori ! tori ! tori!
tori is the goddess diva of music and all that is goooood. i have all her cd's. of course, i think some are better than others. favourite one is the double cd "to venus and back". i didnt really like strange little girls, mainly cause it wasnt her own material and i prefer her quirky stuff. |

Me I like Tori Amos... Obviously!
I like her latest album a lot... Of her previous stuff, I'd say Choirgirl and some of Venus... That song Datura is just so cool! My least fav would be Strange Little Girls. That album is a let down... I usually don't mind girl covers of songs originally by men (How Soon Is Now is a good example). Also Boys For Pele is one that overall is a little disappointing but has a few good songs... |

I like her a lot, especially first album.
Have them all, though. She's great. I also like PJ Harvey and Bjork. |

Tori Amos
Tori Amos is nothing short of a musical Goddess to me. I've been listening to her for 10 years now. I have 31 of her cds (8 albums *including Y Kan't Tori Read*, 23 singles). Not to mention all the hats, shirts, vids, books, and posters I've collected. Unfortunately I've only seen her 4 times live, but hey.. I'm certainly not complaining.
I'll stop now considering I sound all obsessed with her. Well, maybe I am just a tad bit.*lol* |

Yayayayayayay now I have tatu/tori fan friends!! PT I am very much the same... I'm holding back on the singles collection due to terrible financial state but she has been my absolute angel since LE and there hasn't been a day I didn't listen to some of her music Hehe and my friend knows where she lives, so after she's finished touring US we're going to pay a little visit... probably not do anything but look at her house.. don't want to be disrespectful or anything... So what are everyones favourite songs/albums/bsides/lyrics? What did you make of Scarlets Walk? |

Those are some extremely tough questions.*l* My faves change from time to time so for right now here's my list: Album : Y Kan't Tori Read (Now, I admit it might be a bit cheezy but it grew on me and that's the one I have been listening to the most for the past couple of days.) Songs : (one from each album) Cool On Your Island, Me And A Gun, Past the Mission, Glory of the 80's, Northern Lad, Marianne, Enjoy the Silence, and Taxi Ride. B Sides : Purple People, Hey Jupiter (Dakota Version), Song for Eric, Take to the Sky, Upside Down, and Do It Again. Lyrics : WAY too many to list, but I have always been drawn to "I guess you go too far when pianos try to be guitars." -- Northern Lad and " You see Lady Luck is my mistress and you'll have to play second to her wish." -- Don't Make Me Come To Vegas It took some time for me to warm up to Scarlet's Walk. Now I think she did one hell of a job and I'm completely happy with it. How about yourself SaraLouise? What are your faves? |

Tori Amos is one of the best female vocals out there. Winter is an amazing song.
Does anyone know of any tours she is doing? |
