I'm very disappointed with our pick. Plan B is such a mediocre song. A ballad that switches to an up-tempo disco song... come on... that's been done before by Donna Summer. With much more pleasurable results. Plus those synth seemed to travel to our time straight from the 1982, due to a disturbance in the space/time continuoum.

I think the second choice Mandoline (which actually won the telephone poll, but then lost since the jury of so called "experts" gave it null points), would have had much better chances to excel at Eurovision. It's uptempo, catchy, tacky... all the ingredients you need for a successful entry. Plus it reminds me somewhat of Ruslana Lyzhicko's equally tacky Wild Dances, which actually won in 2004.

But to be honest non of these two are really worth mentioning if you judge them according to non-Eurovision standards - as run-of-the-mil pop songs. They're both pretty terrible in that respect. Chosing the one to like better is like asking whether it'd be better to die of rabbies or hepatitis C.

The only song I heard before was the Albanian entry and it sounds too much like last year's entry, so I dunno. Is the ethnic trend still strong?
The Polish song sounds ordinary with the usual quirky male voice. They should try something more dramatic
Vissi is a bit old for Eurovision, I'd expect someone younger but we can expect the usual nonsense from Greece - that does so well  Then I heard that Nana Mouscouri will play a part in selecting the song for Greece and that Vicky Leandros wants to participate for Germany...so I guess Demis Rousos might represent France and we can always count on our old Cliff for keeping it real for Britain

Anyway, the show will be hosted by Sakis Rouvas and an undisclosed female presenter (some rumours say Jennifer Anniston but I wouldn't hold my breath about that.)

Last year's show was very good so will see how my compatriots will fair. The whole thing is expected to cost 12 million euro

Norway 2006-Christina Gullbrandsen-Alvedansen likethis song
Ok song but really not so interesting.

Unimportant fact: Also in 1987 Norway had a girl named Gulbrandsen competing in Eurovision. Her first name was Kate and the song was called Mitt Liv (My life). I still like that song.
Kate Gulbrandsen (ESC 1987) - Mitt Liv (http://rapidshare.de/files/13132093/NORVEGE_1987_-_eurovision_-KATE_GULBRANDSEN__mitt_liv_.mp3.html)

So again a Swedish girl competing for Estonia.Lol, that show has lost all meaning, most performers no longer sing in the language of the country they represent, and some are not even from the country they represent, total nonsense.

KillaQueen
13-02-2006, 04:43
not to mention the music is total nonsense. people try to bring back genres which died a long time ago, hoping they'd be the ones to revive them. some 'revival' songs aren't so bad though (if you like the originals), such as denmark's twist song for this year. but what these competitors fail to see is that this contest only made 2 or 3 artists/bands big. well, only one - ABBA - if you ask me, but that's another story. Celine Dion doesn't count, as her fame came almost a decade later. the others were just one hit wonders (and maybe not even that). what is the point? :dknow:

its a cool ballad but have no idea if its gonna do well in the eurovision

tonight the song of iceland will be defined

edit(2 days later):the songs of iceland, switzerland and belgium has been picked.swiss song is a typical eurovision ballad by a group with 6 singers from different countries.belgian song is not that typical for eurovision but a typical pop song.the iceland entry is to be considered as a joke entry sung by a woman called sylvia nott(its not her real name, the woman acts like a stupid woman)

until today we got to know the songs of 11 countries.by march 21,all the songs will be known..........

the german entry will be shit as every year after max mutzke & stefan raab. I can think that Vicky Leandros will win. New show with only 3 bands/singers.
No good young artist want to participate because Stefan Raab started his own "eurovision" called "Bundesvision" where every state of germany can send 1 artist. (like eurovision just only for germany)

Official information from the BBC (http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio2/eurovision/2006/mymu/contestant_dazsampson.shtml) and if you click on the "find out more" link and wait a few seconds, you will hear the song.

forced by the forces of hangover to stay at home i watched dora, competition where they pick the song for eurovision. i was shocked by the low quality of most songs, the vulgarity of the singers and well everything. the peak of the evening was severina, the biggest star of croatia ever since the homemade porno movie in which she has the lead female role. anyway her song "shtikla" won as predicted. if u r wondering what shtikla is, its the very high heeled shoe. and the lyrics go smthing like this: jer josh trava nije nikla tamo gdje je stala moja stikla= cos there's still no grass where i stepped with my high heeled shoe. :) how lovely, anyway i believe she will do very well cos shes quite popular beyond borders in ex-yugo countries. and yeah i think this is the most embarrasing song ever representing my country.

here u go, fast after the glorious win tonigh here on tatysite Severina - Moja Shtikla (http://s5.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=1R7TJ8B2LJ47G3QSPGORQ0M0AY)

I can't say anything about the other songs, as I didn't see or hear them, although the posters on Digital Spy were commenting on how City Chix were very similar to Tatu. It was funny to see Costa beaten. Even funnier to see Kym Marsh beaten by City Chix. Her career is now definitely over.

One of the posters on Digital Spy came up with this quote about Daz Sampson - So bad, so wrong, so crass that you just know it's completely right for Eurovision. We're never going to win the competion again regardless of who we send, so we might just as well proverbially stick two fingers up to the rest of Europe and show them that we really don't take the whole thing too seriously.

Sums it up for me.

A very strange thing - I was channel hopping and I'll swear Cat Deeley was wearing exactly the same dress as Natasha Kaplinksy (the red one).

Yeah, good but that was done back in 1985...though from what I've seen they must be zombies :D
The songs seem like a rehash of the 2005 Eurovision song contest. Spain had an a Las Ketchup song last year, and now they're bringing the original group ;) UK did a rap song  ( done by Ukraine last year, so they're once again behind ). Sweden went for the 60's last year, this time it is Denmark - lets twist! - Norway went for the "ethnic" sound ( done by Andorra last year and Belgium the year before ) Bosnia for the very welcome Balkan ballad ( done by Serbia and Croatia last year and the year before ). Albania's song sounds just like their last year's entry ;) A few Abba-isms ( what were they thinking in Portugal  ) Cyprus went for a boring ballad ( a la Netherlands etc. ) and Belgium...well, I'm sure we've heard it before, the fact that Kate Ryan is a little known in Europe may push the song a bit but no way favourite, probably an early victim.
I think the quirky one I like so far is Serbia's ( that might shake the roof ) and the more accessibly one from Turkey. These two are definitely more interesting than the rest.
In all, I think it's gonna be a classic Eurovision weekend!

PS. oops by Serbia I meant Croatia. Serbia has not chosen yet ;)

I dont know who she is, but I read she's been around for a while ... and you ocan hear towards the end of the song a man 'aaaaaaaaaaahing' with her... well, that's no other than our very own: Azis the Transvestite (http://bgpopfolk.free.fr/azis/bgazis.htm) I hope he goes with her and 'ahh' couple of times, just to contribute to the Eurovision circus haha ... the song... well, zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz again, but i also read that at least the girl can sing live...

edit: actually, now that i've heard it couple of times... it's not THAT bad... it's just one of those ballads that i dont really enjoy that much, but it has some potential if performed well...

No No Never (http://rapidshare.de/files/13509956/Texas_Lightning_-_No_No_Never.mp3.html)

I like it, the melody is good, the singer's voice is nice and the country elements don't overwhelm the song. Another one I like is Ireland's, it may be a bit subtle but I think that Ireland might regain its pride in the contest. Bulgaria...well, I can't hear something in the song that will elevate it from mediocrity, so we need to wait for the performance.
All the songs are ok, nothing extraordinary but no real stinkers either...except , maybe the UK song... and bearing in mind that he can't use a kids choir due to regulations, another idea for a stage act would be to pick up a few yobs from the streets... provided they wreck the stage afterwards.

Oh, having said that: esctoday has not shown the entry for Lithuania yet and I do hope it's not the one I heard...that was shocking
PS. If you're interested, the songs chosen for Vissi to sing in the Greek final - which is tomorrow - are up on the main page of eurovision.gr

Good decision if you ask me, that thing must die, it's an embarrassment to the whole continent. :gigi:

Embarassment or not, the tickets for the 2 nights disappeared within 1.5 hour. So for an embarassment it sells pretty well ;)
speaking about embarassment, the Greek song is embarassing but apparently some people like it...:bum:
So the biggest embarassments in this year's Eurovison should be 1) Lithuania 2) Iceland 3) UK 4) Greece...
though the UK would probably do well according to the polls....
Oh also the French song is slow and boring ( surprise surpise! )

Best songs for me are: Belgium-Turkey-Bosnia-Germany-Switzerland-Ireland-Croatia and the dark horse should be
Romania again - though not my style, a well tried recipe. Was easy to pick really....haven't listened to Armenia, Netherlands or Monaco yet and of course the others that haven't been selected ( like Russia, Serbia, Sweden etc )

serbia and montenegro withdrew from the contest as 2005 montengrin participants no name wins again with a song that is about the independence of montenegro

and i think the best songs until now are from norway, netherlands, bosnia, greece, romania and albania(since i have some roots from albanians)

now heres what you were waiting for!the russian song declared!never let you go by dima bilan.its an average song.there are better ones.

I got so mad when Carola won. That dumb religious freak.
Oh well, she's already a celebrity in Sweden and the song was good, she has a strong voice.
My momma voted for Bodies Without Organs though, they're hilarious.

Today me and my mom were at the supermarket, and as we were standing in line I go "I hate Carola." and the lady at the register gave me a smile, LOL.

I don't think our polls allow that many entries. We can write a sort of "my top 10" when the entries of all countries will be available.

I've never been a huge fan of Carola. She's all right but not more than that.

I'm sure the problem will be settled in either way. I'll wait and see. Eurovision is going to take place with or without our southern neighbors.

P.S. It's the same story each year. Some countries quarrel over entries, etc. Last year it was Bulgaria, which had some celebrity scandal with disqualification and this year it's Serbia and Montenegro. Sad enough.

this year it about politics.it was revealed that montenegro will use the group no name for the independence referrandum in may after their victory in the national final.then serbs go mad and cancelled the final results.tonight there will be a additional final with top five of each part.but now montenegro refuses to broadcast the show.dont know what will happen

1 pt to Norway (if Serbia & Montenegro took part, I would give them one point)
2 pts to the United Kingdom (simply a nice idea, won't be forgotten)
3 pts to Russia
4 pts to Belarus
5 pts to Slovenia
6 pts to Finland
7 pts to Denmark
8 pts to Bosnia & Herzegovina

12 pts to Romania

I can't see a song that has really impressed me in this year's Eurovision, perhaps Norway might be a favourite if the support of that song continues and they can perform it well. i haven't heard the French song either, tho, so maybe a surpise there?

These are my choices:

Germany
Switzerland
Estonia
Norway
Turkey
Bosnia/Herzegovina
Belgium
Russia
Ireland
Croatia

No points but if I were to pick favourite I'd probably say Bosnia or Belgium.
It'd be easier if we were to vote for the worst song in Eurovision...that'd be Iceland -12 :p
Though there's also competition from Lithuania ( losers of Eurovision ) the UK and Monaco ( among others ;) )

There's no Moldova of 2005 ( Zdob Si Zdub ) no Cyprus of 2004 ( Lisa Andreas) no Russia of 2003 ( guess who ;) ) no Greece of 2001 ( Antique ) no Latvia of 2000 ( Brainstorm ). I think I know the reason why the Westerners can't win ESC anymore: their acts suck.

Though Carola might be the one to bring it back to the West. It's very catchy, extremely corny and written with only one thing in mind: Eurovision

Most people on the forums are already routing for songs like Ireland's, Finland's, the UK's, Sweden's etc. So it's definitely going back to the west ( and maybe the north-west )
Only song from the east that stands a chance is Romania's.

she first appears in that blue dress then changes it i think.the second rehearsals got started and i saw the armenian rehearsal,i dont think it will qualify easily.the voice can not be heard clearly and the string thing is sort of a copy of winner sertab in 2003.

She's going to change clothes for the performance they say. Oh, well...
Armenia? I have no idea. I think it won't be so easy to qualify. Then, Turkey. I think it will qualify without major problems if they won't be too nervous to blow the act.

edit:some comments about Russia and Turkey

Russia
Dima is the first to have a rehearsal today: modern outfit (jeans and white tshirt); 5 people on the stage (sentimental choreography, 2 ballet - dressed girls dancing behind him, 2 backing vocalists, and the last girl apearing in the end, coming from inside, a white piano on the stage). The lights are colored in white. Reahearsal of Dima went very well today. There were many people with huge Russian flags believing that Dima's experience and great voice will take him to the final.

Turkey
Everything seems to be fine in Turkish rehearsal. Sibel is singing half Turkish and half English. In some moments we'll update more news about it.
p.s:update:Turkey--The performance was very energetic, powerful voice and modern choreography. Sibel wears a star in the side of her head and the performance goes smoothly well. update: Sibel Tuzun told to oikotimes.com that she used the half-half language just for reharsing. Management of Sibel told us that there will be one more surprise on the night of the semifinal. Let's wait and see.

As I thought, the stage act of the Russians is not so good. Here's one review:
The most obvious thing to comment on about is the ballet dancers used for backing dancers. I know they are supposed to be serious ballet dancers to a serious romantic love ballad, but boy they are extremely stiff and I am not convinced they go with the songs tempo. The American Beauty style ballet dancer sitting in the piano looks stiff and awkward and has a Dawn of the Dead feeling to her. It looks like she wants to push the Russian of the piano when he jumps up and does his show-stopping moment.

As for Turkey. Pictures don't show it all. Here's another opinion:
Turkey was up next this morning. This was a good rehearsal but there were a few problems and , in my opinion, it was not as good as their first one. The main problem for me is her lifts. She had problems here at the first rehearsal too. They seem to have sorted the one where she is lifted to the back of the stage. That is fine but when they lift her back to the front of the stage just before the key change, they rarely time it correctly so she is either not on the ground or just barely on the ground when she has to start singing again. She should have had a head mic to make things easier!!! Varying opinions on Turkey as well this year. Personally, I have to say that after the first rehearsal I thought that it might qualify. After today, I'm not so sure.

They say Sweden is an automatic qualifier. I bet Carola is. With her experience and a sure stage act, she'd do it well

the semi final will be held tomorrow and today there are rehearsals with costumes.i think real favourites will stand out today and there wont be any surprise tomorrow

here are the reviews about the dress rehearsals.

Dress rehearsals have just started. At the begining we will hear many historical Eurovision Songs. The opening is really promising. There are a lot of Greeks element in the performance. Sakis and Maria just entered to stage. She is withe and he is in black. While these two are singing the dancers formed a heart.

Armenia
Armania has jus started. The stage is red and black. Andre is really doing a great work for Armenia. The coreography is simple but it suits to this song. We remained you that Armenia was eleventh in Oikotimes Europrediction. Aremania got an impressing applause.

Bulgaria
She is wearing a very beautiful dress. The denceres are in blue dresses. Very nice performance. Stage is yallow and red and also it is changing into the green in some point of song.

Slovenia
Anzej is in withe and girls are in red and one is organge. This song could really surprise everybody. Anzej improved his performance so much since Ema. He is 16th in our Europrediction. Stage looks fantastic. Sretno Slovenija!

Andorra
Jenny from Andorra staped on scene. She is in red dress and back dancers are in white. Stage is purple and red. In our opinion this performance is suicide, and Jenny's tunic cardigan doesn't do her any favours either.

Belarus
The choreography looks ok, and the song was sung to a reasonable degree of vocal quality. It does tend to get very repetative towards the end though.

Albania
The backing singers are all dressed in tradiotnal folk clothing, with the singer himself in white and green. The song went well and was performed without a hitch, but one does wonder if it is what the voters on Eurovision are looking for in a qualifier.

Belguim
The bunsome blonde Kate in her red dress is joined on stage by four dancers, two of whom are using the on-stage platforms. There did seem to be some strange sounds on the main chorus, whether the backing singers mics were too loud or they were just out of tune will obviously be looked at. However Kate is performing confidently and has a good stage show.

Ireland
Brian Kennedy has no trouble performing this song- his voice is simply amazing. He has three well behaved backing singers, and the chorus now has a drumbeat in it. It's a nice song and could get through.

Break
Then we had the pause for a commercial break, before Sakis and Maria welcomed everybody back and thanked all the volenteers etc for their parts in the videos.

Cyprus
Wearing a summery yellow dress down to her knees, competent vocalist Annette and her backing singers- who stand on the platforms- perfomed ''Why Angels Cry'' well. Annette verged on dramatics at the end, but didn't quite end up on the floor and hold the final note well to round off the performance. The song was also very well received by the crowd.

Monaco
Despite hitting a bum note on the opening of her song, Severine rescued the performance, although question marks about her voice remain. The backing singers are all dressed in Tahitian beach outfits, and Severine and a dance perform a little move during the instrumental eading up to the final chorus. The song has a well crafted routine, and will need to be sung perfectly to get through.

FYR Macedonia
Elena starts the song at the very back of the platforms with two female dancers/backing vocalists, whilst three other rush to the front to strut their stuff. Elena wears a red top and her skirt looks more like a belt- that's sure to get her some votes! She even does some dancing on the floor before bursting into the final refrain.

Poland
The start of the Polish song features various people saying ''I follow my heart'' before one of the singers comes on from around the front of the stage. The two members of the band who sang in 2003 are joined by backing dancers and vocalists. The entire song is performed in English. Both lead singers perform the age-old Eurovision tradition of shouting at each other from a distance of 5 centimetres.

Russia
Dima Bilan starts the song on-stage by himself, standing at a microphone, with the backing choir then making an appearance, along with two ballet-dancers. Dima performed the last part of the song standing on the piano. He sang very well and looks sure to qualify at the very least.

Turkey
Blonde-haired Sibel sings ''Superstar'' in Turkish at the start of course, and the animation on the steps behind the stage is full of stars. After a bit of belly dancing in the middle, the song is performed in English before returning to Turkish at the end. Sibel has four male dancers on stage, who all jump to the floor at the end of the show. The song was very well received at the end though.

Ukraine
Tina Karol wears white, with her dancers in red. She tends to scream the song as opposed to singing it in parts. Cartwheels are in full view during the instrumental part of the song, then the dancers spin around with their folk shirts getting up.

Finland
Fire is on the stage at the start of the Finnish entry, and the scarey masks are present, although Lordi looks less frightening with his top hat with a Finnish flag on it! Lordi does appear to not be able to reach the higher notes of the song, and this does distract from the entry. The musicians on stage are also doing to backing vocals. Lordi then grows his ''bat-wings'' in the lead up to the final chorus. In this part, the pyrotechnics come out, with the sparks a la ''Let Me Try'' in 2005.

Another ad-break, and we find ourselves with Maria and Sakis in the green room, where Maria attemps an interview with Sakis, who said that in 2004, all parts of his body were ''shaking''- you see what he did there!

Netherlands
The girls performed the song well in terms of vocals and in terms on the on-stage performance.

Lithuania
The guys stand in a long line to perform the premature song ''We Are The Winners''. To add to the insanity of the song, one singer strolls the stage with a megaphone, before a weird little dance is done in the centre of the stage. The ''dance''-routine is unique, and bizare. It has to be one of the most strange entries sice Alf Poier- but look where he finished!

Portugal
Oh dear, it's really not very good is it! The girls can't be faulted for their performance, althoguh their fashion leaves a lot to be desired. Althoguh it's supposed to be 80's themed it is still weird. The song is a typical sounding Eurovision entry from the past, and is likely to be easily forgotten by the televoters.

Sweden
Carola and her wind machine start the song with the stage lights dimmed, and the backing dancers rolling about in the flags on the floor. As the song progresses, everyone's up and dancing, and Carola's performance is faultless and professional. At the end of the song everyone's waving their flags on-stage.

Estonia
Sandra is dressed in blue and a white belt is joined on stage by musicians, dancers, and instrumentalists, with the flatforms in use. Another competant performance, and the routine of the song is effective without much actually going on.

Bosnia-Herzegovina
The song starts with Hari Mata Hari on centre stage with the lights dimmed to put the enphasis on the singer. The backing singers do not engage in prancing about, and are impecably behaved at the back on the stage, looking very relaxed and creating that sort of atmosphere. At the end of the song everyone comes forward to the front of the stage to finish off a well-polished production. It went down very well in the hall.

Iceland
She said it!!! Silvia Night said the 'F' word in the rehearsal! She looks comical/over the top on stage, screaming about, and flaunting her stuff with the backing singers. Some flags are waved at the back of the stage as with the Swedish performance. Pyrotechnics at the end finished off the song.

second dress rehearsal finished just a time ago and here are some reviews

Armenia : Solid and in with a chance.
Bulgaria : Aziz performed but was rather subdued. Most better than earlier.
Slovenia : Still polished and going to the final for me.
Andorra : Back to the black dress. Still in need of a miiracle.
Belarus : Still loud and shiny and without a hope.
Albania : Not findind that fifth gear that it needs.
Belgium : Better than before, but still not a guaranteed performance.
Ireland : There's now a big high note at the end. I'm not sure it needs it, otherwise it was good.
Cyprus : A pleasant performance that gets a huge reaction. Still in with shout.
Monaco : Slightly stronger than before but that's not saying much. Not a hope.
Macedonia (or F.Y.R.O.M. on the intro card) : Like Albania it needs to find another 10% somewhere. No sound problems tonight.
Poland : Slightly better but still a mess vocally. Not a qualifier.
Russia : Not as OTT as before except for a high note added at the end which doesn't add anything. Sailing into the final.\
Turkey : Best performance by Turkey this week. Sibel makes a bit of an effort to get he crowd going and it lifts the song big time. It now goes Turkish-English-Turkish-English.
Ukraine : Big and shiney and well performed. In with a strong chance of qualifying.
Finland. A big improvement on this afternoon. Also now a guaranteed finalist.
Netherlands : "Same as it ever was" bad.
Lithuania : Little crowd reaction. It's not not without a chance though.
Portugal : Completly forgetable. Not a finalist.
Sweden : Again a big improvement on this aftenoon. A finalist.
Estonia : A poor vocal at times. The routine is polished, but IO can't see it making it.
Bosnia-Herz : Frigtening good from an Irish perspective. If a semi-finalist is to win, it will be this rather than Belgium or Sweden.
Iceland : Loud booing before the performance, proving that you reap what you sow o the publicity bandwagon. Ironically the best it has been performed all week.

18-05-2006, 20:35
Belgium is through already... not the best song out there and besides Celine Dion makeup was a bad choice, but it shows Kate Ryan is a seasoned performer.

freddie
18-05-2006, 20:49

"Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia" LMAO

Silly Greeks. :p

The song: At least it sounded Balkan-ish without being forcefully ethno like some others.

forre
18-05-2006, 20:52
Macedonia is through. A-la Britney. It should work.

Anouk
18-05-2006, 20:53
Aw man.. I had high expectations of those former Yugoslav Republics.. FYR of Macedonia is a let down.. Let's hope the others have better stuff in store for us

forre
18-05-2006, 20:56
Poland thinks it's a drag queen contest or what? :bye:

P.S. An international drag queen contest to all that. 5 languages there. I suddenly understand almost everything.

Anouk
18-05-2006, 20:57
In exactly how many different languages is Poland's song?

spyretto
18-05-2006, 20:57

Russia is through without any doubt. It's all great!

But why in english? :bum:

Anouk
18-05-2006, 21:00
Sooooo, in compare to the 1's on t.A.T.u.'s shirts in 2003 - is Russia aiming for the #13 spot this year?

freddie
18-05-2006, 21:01
Russian boy... tight fit jeans?! Now we're talkin'. :p

Why couldn't he sing in Russian? Pfff. English and his neutral euro-accent makes it all sound mediocre.

forre
18-05-2006, 21:01
But why in english?
Because Russian doesn't work in that contest.

nath
18-05-2006, 21:03
The lights are a little too cold....could be building a warmer atmosphere but Russia is Good! :done:

Anouk
18-05-2006, 21:04
Are that Turkish' chick's tattoo's for real? Only that is already a huge turn off.. So ugly!!

forre
18-05-2006, 21:05
She looks like a transsexual. I'm not sure it will qualify. She's so stiff! Her vocal contribution is not so convincing either.

freddie
18-05-2006, 21:05
Turkish Shakira is through. They'll remember this one for sure. That back-beat is a total 70s disco.

She looks weird though, yeah.

spyretto
18-05-2006, 21:05
Whatever, I thought Russia sucked as well...oh yeah a girl came out of a piano, that was cool.
Turkey is rubbish too, mainly because that kind of song should be sung in English.

nath
18-05-2006, 21:06
Me I LOVE Turkey: she is HOT!!!! Wow!

robbie
18-05-2006, 21:07

*thumbs down* for Ukraine..

spyretto
18-05-2006, 21:08
Wow, Ukraine brought a poor Shakira imitator circa 2000.

freddie
18-05-2006, 21:09
Ukraine has some pipes on her. Whoa. Too bad they're trying to repeat the Wild Dances joker.

Anouk
18-05-2006, 21:09
Yeah.. So many Shakira wannabe's lately  At the Bravo show, 2 already at Eurovision :none:

forre
18-05-2006, 21:10

Anouk
18-05-2006, 21:11
OMG - Finland's so horrible it makes me laugh  I guess the song's fine - but who would want those things to tour their country, should they win?

forre
18-05-2006, 21:12
Finland - Star Treck next generation. :coctail:

freddie
18-05-2006, 21:13
Finland! It should win on Saturday! :p

To be honest though... this guy can't really sing... that's why he's going all macho growly voice on us... but the song is such an Alice Cooper throwback you just have to like it.

....she's poison running through my vains....

robbie
18-05-2006, 21:17

Anouk
