Sports but not quite: Martial Arts
Just wondering: has anyone here practiced any kind of Martial Arts? As some know, I'm very involved with Tae Kwon Do, and I happily went back to training today, after a year and 4 months of doing nothing. Needless to say I'm all sore, but I'm so happy.
Name it. Or even if you haven't practiced, have you seen one you've particularly liked? |

I always wanted to do Tae Kwon Do. Took me a lot of fighting to where my mum would have finally relented. She kinda wanted me to do Karate or nothing. But now I don't have time. I'm planning to go sometime though. Just to at least learn a lil bit.

hmm.. I do one sport.. and I'll soon master it well.. it's called typing and browsing. Some times I'm really good at the first part and other times I keep getting it wrong. But thats about all I do. Remove some items and I'm sure it'll look like some kind of sport

I practiced Tae Kwon Do about a year and a half ago, I had to take that class to get some extra credit for university.
Anyway, I had a great time going to the classes until the day I had my first combat (or fight, how is it called?) lol... I end up all bruised and it wasn't exactly funny when the other girl kick me in the groin, lol... Finally, the day I decided never come back to that class was when a newbie, during the practice, kicked his opponent right on the head and knock him out.. that was scary.... lol, I'm a brave girl |

I'd like to do Judo, or something really crazy. |

im a stong advocate of bunsmaster...yes...the tooshie firming videos...now also available on DVD
When i was little...i.e. 6 mom put me in karate coz it was just what everyone did...then when we left Hong Kong i never picked it up again. I got into other things then like soccer and swimming (i always sucked at basketball)...so martial arts took a back seat for me. I think it looks pretty tho |
