"Lost In Translation" doesn't open in a bad way for sure

Think one of the most mentioned opening scenes must be from "Saving Private Ryan"

For me it's an old movie "Touch of Evil" (1958) directed by Orson Welles...the way the camera is moving, at the beginning, is absolutely fabulous...If you observe very well all the cuts...you have very long sequences without cut where the camera is moving in very long distances....About technical aspect Welles was really a "Master"!...I love you Orson !

The opening of Mission Impossible II stuck in my head for good. Tom is hanging on the cliffs ... Is it the opening scene? I hope so.

Religion is an insult to human dignity. With or without it you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.

For me it's X-men 2. That Nightcrawler sequence in the White house was amazing.

Lost In Translation: opening shot is Scarlett Johansen in bed. Zoom goes from extreme closeup and zooming out from there. Better in actual vision than in words

Saving Private Ryan: Whats refeered to as the opening scene is the D-day scene. I think it starts with Private Ryan in the present day though.

Se7en: Title shows various images from most of the deadly sins murders. If one look closely there are a lot of spoilers, though one doesn't know it at first.
Opening shot: Think this one starts with Mills in the bedroom before his first day at the new job. Then a shot of the rainy city and the first crimescene. Basically I love all scenes in this movie so doesn't matter which scene comes first
