I have Zone Alarm, and it kicks some major assorz!!!
It blocks all the pop-ups and animated stuff, but if I want to I can change that - talk about freedom!  I have it as a .rar file, Mossopp so I can send it to you ready to be installed - just contact me somehow and we'll work things out.  (My version is Zone Alarm Pro 4.5 something)

How can you send it to me QB? I've tried to send/receive stuff via MSN Messenger in the past and it's never worked cos my connection is so shite. Is there any other way to do it?

I uploaded it to my website, it's only about 9MB so I hope your connection can handle it  Here: http://www.tatuverse.net/ZoneAlarmPro.rar There is a German and English version, if you want the English one you need to click on the .exe file that ends with _en. There is also a key generator so you don't need to go search for serial numbers. Everybody else is also welcome to download it

But how do I get the choice between the English and German version? It doesn't give me the option when I click the link - it just asks me if I want to open it or save it to my comp. |

Mossopp, right now you just save it as it is, later when you unzip it there will be several files in there, along with two - one german and one english. You'll see what I mean.

Oh my! I just remembered - Forre, I'm not sure if the file ever got sent to you so I'm really really sorry that it was interrupted.
 *Cries* I completely forgot!The file is still on the site if you want to download it (http://www.tatuverse.net/ZoneAlarmPro.rar), and that goes for everyone else aswell. Let's hope Mossopp's damn pop-ups will stop.. popping up.  I'm sure we can solve the problem somehow. |

Still no luck QB. For some reason my comp only downloaded 5MB before it told me that the d/l was complete. Then when I tried to open it I got an error message saying that it can't read RAR files.

Mossopp, RAR is another data compression format (much like ZIP) that's becoming more and more popular. As with ZIP, you need a program to decompress the file(s) in order to read them. WinRAR is a great tool which will not only let you decompress RAR files, but many other file types, back up your data, create new archives, etc... in short it's a great archive manager.
As always, you can find the full program floating around the net in places like Kazaa or MIRC channels, but the legal free trial version can be found here (they even support FreeBSD! ):http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm |
