i am not even surprised by how lame he is (this is a guy who has a list of the awards he's won listed on his website...)
but i thought Yulia sounded great, playback or not, her voice is charming

It's been announced that her first international single will be "Didn't Wanna Do It".

Hi everybody!

We've been super busy preparing for Julia's first international solo single and it's Russian counterpart. Today Julia will go into the studio for the final recording session to apply the finishing touches to the song. The video shoot is planned to take place next week.

The song is titled "Didn't Wanna Do It" and was written and produced by Swedish duo The Euroz (Saeed Molavi and Nadir Benkahla) along with co-writer Taj Jackson. The Euroz have previously worked with Korean Hip-Hop band "Big Bang" on their single "Beautiful Hangover". Lena Kiper has written the lyrics for the Russian version of the song called "Давай Закрутим Землю" (Davai Zakrutim Zemlyu: Let's Make The World Turn). Kiper is well known for her work having co-written t.A.T.u.'s hit singles "All The Things She Said/Ya Soshla S Uma" and "Not Gonna Get Us/Nas Ne Dagoniat".

The chorus is quite catchy but other parts is just typical pop song. The lyrics are baaad! Hope Lena Kiper did a good job with Russian lyrics. I don't think she'll score an international hit but will keep my fingers crossed for Russia.

I think there's a line in the song where he sings, "I turned into a pimp, G". Really can't imagine Yulia singing that but we'll see. If this is the song, it's a fucking joke...just lame, basic, unoriginal crap that sounds like everything else on the radio.

Julia is currently in Cuba shooting the video for her first international single entitled "Didn't Wanna Do It". So far, the shooting has taken place in two cities: Varadero and La Habana. Varadero is a resort town in the province of Matanzas, and one of the largest resort areas in the Caribbean. It is also called Playa Azul, which means "blue beach" in Spanish, and is situated 140 km east of La Habana. La Habana is the capital city, province, major port, and leading commercial centre of Cuba, which attracts over a million tourists annually. We've published pictures of the shooting where we can see Julia wearing a colorful dress, and also in company of Lena Kiper. It's been officially confirmed that once Julia is back in Moscow (3-4 of July) she will shoot the video for the song Back To Her Future. There's no exact date, since Dima is currently in Ukraine.

Julia seems to have a new lover, named Alexandra (Sasha), who lives in Los Angeles, city where they met. The girls were seen together in Moscow, captured by the press for the first time during the Radio Monte Carlo Grand Prix. They spent time together in the beach during Julia's trip in Cuba, where she recently shot the video for her first international single "Didn't Wanna Do It". Julia said: "I have never hidden that I like both boys and girls. Sasha inspires me. She's a good girl, and I feel good with her. And where this road will lead, life will show".
