Words are actually different in every spanish speaking country (if we are talking about the same when we refer to 'words') like in "Tomar el autobus" or "Coger el autobus" (the last one means another thing in some country lol). Grammar rules...I dont know mexican spanish so dunno, but in my spanish no difference.

(You didn't conjugate the verbs)

Just to be safe, I'd probably say to use "tomar" just because you run less of a chance of offending someone (or being made fun of). Although, if you said "cojo la cucaracha" no one would think that you were saying "I fuck the roach."

itsme22 has already answered but i made a lesson about that anyway
Simple regular verb conjugation (in present)

Quote:
Verb Conjugations-Present

When a Verb ends in –ar (Hablar)
Yo hablo – I talk
Tu hablas – You talk (singular)
Usted habla – You talk (Formal way for Tu)
El/ella habla – He/She talks
Nosotros Hablamos – We talk
Ellos/ellas/ustedes Hablan – You talk (masculine, femenine and both) (plural)

When a Verb ends in –er (Beber)
Yo bebo – I drink
Tu bebes – You drink
El/ella bebe – He/She drinks
Usted bebe – You drink
Nosotros bebemos – We drink
Ellos/ellas/ustedes beben – drink

When a Verb ends in –ir (Vivir)
Yo vivo – I live
Tu vives – You live
El/ella vive – He/She lives
Usted vive – You live
Nosotros vivimos – We live
Ellos/ellas/ustedes viven – You live
Now you conjugate this verbs: Jugar(play), Esconder(hide), Escribir(write)...You can post them in here if you want them corrected or if you have any doubt.

So...im free so if you want any lesson about a specific topic (yes, you tell me! xD) just ask for it lol

Offtop:
crazy malchik I own you a lesson about....writting, right? ill make it and post it this weekend...i promise

When a Verb ends in –er (Comer)
Yo bebo – I drink
Tu bebes – You drink
El/ella bebe – He/She drinks
Usted bebe – You drink
Nosotros bebemos – We drink
Ellos/ellas/ustedes beben – You drink

You can also say

Yo-Tomo
Tu-Tomas
El/ella-Toma
Usted-Toma
Nosotros-Tomamos
Ellos/ellas/ustedes-Toman

Tomar and Beber pretty much means the same thing

*Tomar* can also be use as "take"
Ej:
· Tomar el autobus - (Yo tomo el autobus)
· Tomar un objeto - (Yo tomo una lapicera)

We dont either but i thought it would be 'better' to put Beber instead of Tomar
Anyway, you already know it is the same

In Jugar you must put an e (Juegan, Juegas) exept in Nosotros Jugamos. (My Mistake srry, fogot to mention that)

Quote:
Ellos/ellas/ustedes escenden
Change the e for the o
Quote:
Ellos/ellas/ustedes ecribiren
You added a -ir

So its right!

You got a ten

It'd be better to learn the pronouns like this:
Yo
Tu
El/Ella
Nosotros
Ustedes
Ellos/Ellas
..
Usted

It's the same meaning, but it's not exactly the same. O_o In Spain "usted/ustedes" is only used in formal speech. It's really weird to get to hear a teenager to say "usted" actually.

You're cofused. Usted is not the same as ustedes.
Usted is like tu but formal.
Ustedes is the same as vosotros but the conjugation is different.
For example,
Ustedes pegan
Vosotros pegáis

Jesus, I'm not confused. xD Ok let me correct myself, "It's really weird to get to hear a teenager to say "usted" or "ustedes" actually.

That is what I mean. And I can assure you in Spain you don't hear ustedes unless it's a formal situation. We use vosotros all the time. That's why I thought I'd add it to the list.

Latin American people never use vosotros. We use ustedes.
We use *usted* to speak to adults we don't know very well. (In my case, I never say Usted I always say *vos* (tu), but that is just Argentinian Spanish, so don't pay attention to it )
*Ustedes* is informal for us. (Don't worry, when we learn the correct spanish we learn "vosotros" instead of ustedes. But we don't use it.)
