Well, you'll notice how old the two songs i mentioned are, 1987 and 1984, i was a teenager back then, lol. I've mentioned those two songs because they are connected to, hurh... memories, lol. But i haven't listened to them in ages, i no longer have them in any form, analog or digital. "Love on the beat" is a jewel though, Serge Gainsbourg could really do what he wanted in France, lol. I remember that this song was played on TV in prime time hours 20 years ago, lol, with Bambou (Serge's wife for people who don't know) dancing topless next to Serge and screaming her head off. We live in a great country. |

Indeed, I'm not a big fan of music in such cases....'cause I think that uncounsciously you become the SLAVE of the rythm of the music and you don't follow anymore your own private love rythm..... So imagine with the "Bolero" of Ravel!!! ...if my memory is good i might least around 20 minutes.....so if you want to "finish" before , you can't 'cause you have to wait the end of the track to be glorious of precision...(and you have to finish "at 2" in a such condition !.... ) and if you want to follow after the end of the piece of music , you can't 'cause you suddendly heard just a deep silence so you're absolutely deconcentrated!!... But the WORSE is when your ear is suddendly caught by some lyrics of the song ! ..so there , you're absolutely no more in your trip and you have a real risk to burst out laughing!!..... ....and then you can definitively get up.... hihi.... Haku...don't worry ...it was an occasion to listen the Great Serge again...and we haven't translated the lyrics.... |

Yeah, well, that's why I prefer songs with few or no lyrics, just moanings and stuff like that
I think the music is only there for atmosphere though, you can't let yourself depend on it so much |

I'm in way over my head here.
I hate discussions like this. I always have to just sit in the corner and keep quiet and hope that noone asks me to share any stories. I usually try'n sneak out of the room to save myself the embarassment. Mind you, most people who know me know me well enough to not talk about this kinda stuff around me for fear of making me feel left out. So with that in mind, I hope y'all will forgive my ignorance but I was just wondering about this: Quote:

ambient stuff and trip-hop stuff, you sex-maniacal whelps!
Or, alternatively sound effects, preferably a gangster movie with lots of shooting Metallica? Madonna? I'd rather put acetone on my butt and hop out the window. btw, "Love on a Beat "is great, not only as a song tft but as a song, period. Much better than the cheesy and awful "je t'aime" |

Mmm, ... I order in some nice food. Nothing too heavy or spicy. My cooking would probably finish the poor woman off, lol. After the meal, light some candles - you can get some wonderful, sensual aromatherapy ones now (don't use heavily scented ones,) or I mix my own oils to put in a burner or perhaps use for a massage/bath later .
The music you choose just helps create a romantic and sexy mood. I like Enigma, Sade and some tracks by Bryan Ferry/Roxy Music etc to be playing in the background. It all adds to the experience, it's not cheesy. Also Mossopp, why do you think you will never have sex ? |

Mmm, Mossopp, that doesn't mean to say it will never happen. I just think you haven't met the right woman at the right time and place yet. Something will happen, probably when you least expect it to. Hope this makes sense as I'm on antibiotics - yet again !
