The Matrix.....

Where we go from there is the choice I leave to you..." - Neo With those words after the climactic ending of the first movie, people all over the world were left with a fever. For those that haven't seen "The Matrix", you must see the movie in order to understand its sequal and I would have to quote one of the characters, Morpheus: "No one can be told what the Matrix is -- you have to see it for yourself,'' I for one am siked to see the sequal which is coming out on May 15th I believe, correct me if I'm wrong. I'm sure plenty of us here in the U.S. have seen the trailers on T.V. already. I just want to know some of your thoughts of "The Matrix" movies and point of views. BTW, I couldn't resist posting some pics- Neo Neo taking on 50 agents! Neo taking it easy... Neo flying.. I need to see the Matrix.. Im one of those freaks who hasnt seen it
 And its so unfair 'cause everyone I know keep on saying "Ooh the Matrix is so cool, don't you think, Mon?" and I havent even seen it x_xCool pictures.. although that dude looks scary

i simply can not wait for this movie. period. the special effects i saw in the preview would worth my 10 bucks alone! although i'm not so sure the story would be as good as the first one's.
note: i don't like neo flying much. give him a bloom and he'd look like harry potter. especially in that last shot in the preview when he was flying over some green hills landscape.

I saw it before the 15th
Just got back from the theater. They showed the Matrix Reload before it's actual debut date.
Let me tell you that it is amazing. The special FX and the fights are great. I'm not telling you more. It's yours to discover... |

I gotta say I wasn't too impressed with this one.
Don't get me wrong though. I liked it, but it didn't quite meet my expectiations. PS: If you stay after the end credits you'll see the trailer for Matrix Revolutions. |

Yea I saw it the other day, I wasn't too impressed either..
Overly hyped in my opinion..Although the car chase scene was pretty damn nice..

Thought it was pretty good. Yeah didn't live up to the hype it was given. And what was with that looong rave scene O_o. Nice action scenes and interesting plot with the whole architect thing... but my @ss fell asleep by the time it was over >.<

I really fell asleep while watching the first movie ( twice ).
I wonder how many times I will watching the new one  Not to say it's bad but you only watch this for the visual F/X |

well i finally got round to seeing this movie last night, and i've gotta say it is up there with some of the WORST films i've ever seen. It was hilariously bad, like a very, very long matrix parody/comedy sketch. took itself WAY too seriously!!!
sorry had to get it off my chest .... this seemed like a good place to do it. |

The second one was awful. Ha ha, I thought I was the only one who didn't fall in love with the first one - my mom and brother made me see it again, saying I obviously didn't "appreciate" it, and I still thought it was OK - but just OK, I still wasn't crazy about it! Kind of interesting, though
 But Matrix Reloaded was really bloody terrible. Would make a good video game, though

I enjoyed the first one, thought it was an impressive and enjoyable blockbuster. probably wouldn't bother watching it again though.
I really don't see why they needed to make 2 more though (other than $$$), that's why I wasn't keen on going to see reloaded, couldn't really see where else they'd go with it. I thought it'd be crap, but watchable. I certainly never expected it to be THAT bad. Deep Impact was up there as possibly the worst film i've ever seen, but it just might have been knocked off the top spot by that pompous shit. Dunno will have to see how i feel later on in retrospect!! maybe i'm being harsh. what amused me though was the futuristic vision that seems to be the IN thing at the moment. for decades the future was minimalist, white uniform suits and good haircuts, and maybe the odd visor. nowadays the future seems very bohemian ..... barefoot, messy hair, natural beauty, very spiritual and lots of yoga .... oh and mass raves on a friday night. and that's not just in the matrix. LOL. |
