As church is facing its last century of some kind of power on Earth, so the last attempts to show it too. So silly really. Mamma-mia! What a level of thinking there!

Just an update!

The scandal had a happy ending.

Madonna won the battle against the church and will perform in Lisbon on the 13th and on the 14th September. And I'm going!

If she makes jokes about this Maná Church during the show, I'll let you guys know

It helped in one way, it brought (even) more attention to this conflict in the portuguese media, as well as fans protesting on TV, so in a way it helped. It was like "It's so bad, the fans have even started a petition!"
