Hey My YouTube channel is finally up and running. Over the next few days the tracks from the new album "Dark City" are going to be uploaded to YouTube. I use a Korg Micro synth/keyboard and a Yamaha MM6 Synth Keyboard which i plug in to my laptop. I have been recording at home and in a studio too and have been using Seamus' (the engineer) equipment too. He has ProTools and i find it rather bizarre at present. I also record using FruityLoops and also use some Native Instruments programs like Reaktor 5 and Komplete 6 (in the studio). Downloadable sound and beat patches into my Yamaha keyboard have been brilliant.

All i have left to do is to equalise the tracks and then print, burn, upload and celebrate!
I have written lyrics to Fragile State of Mind, Hall of Mirrors, Crystalline, Operate, Dark City, Fractured and Dead End. I just have lyrics to write for In Dreams. I'm refusing to record the vocals at home as i only have a crap microphone seeing as my good one died... so maybe a vocal version of this album will appear in the summer? Who know... I was thinking of spending whatever birthday cash i get in May on more studio time... Personally, I think instrumental albums are hugely underrated. |
