Thanks, but the software I found is small and works without failure. It split the file into 8 parts and created a *.bat file to reconstruct it after. No losses on sound or picture. Everything went super smoothly.

how can i change profiles?? We had a power outage the other day..and when i got back on Mozilla, my profiles changed for some odd reason. Now all the sites I've saved for my research are gone and I need them by tonight! So pleeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaase HELP!!

IE works fine for me and loades all pages... but Firefox says that "the connection was refused"?! WTF! How could you do this to me Firefox?

well, it happens to me also, but i try again few times more and if that doesn't work i disconnect and reconnect and it usually works

anyways, i see on various forums that is a common problem... and it's usually the problem of firewalls... so, do you have any firewalls enabled? like norton internet security maybe? what you should do is try to turn off all firewalls and see if it works then...

crni, nope, none of that.. I think it's "Piss Queenie off" day, because it always worked and I didn't change anything since the last time I was on the internet on this computer...

then you should uncheck the "Piss Queenie off" option LoL
the people have said it just appeared out of nowhere. so that could be your case too... if you have the time (and will) do check all those firewall settings
something like "secured sites" is the option you should look for... TRY!

yeah I had it aswell. But learned to live with it. Reloading the page after a few min normally works. It's mostly with loading tatysite.net I get it, which is the most irritating part of the problem.
Other than that I think Firefox is much better than IE, which normally hand me 404's (or similar) instead.

Firefox still isn't working but now that isn't the problem.
Somehow MSN is not working now either!

What's the most precious thing in the world for me? My mp3-player. My brother needed it to move some files from the computer to the xbox so he used the player because it wasn't working in any other way.

And the stupid idiot goes and deletes the important files that I can't exchange. It was just some folder and a .txt file but it was the default, and now when I turn the player on, it says "File system error"!!!!

So I was thinking I could use the CD which came with the player, surely I might find something there that can help, but my freaking CD drive doesn't work!!!

And I need it NOW... my brother will be sleeping for a looong time so I can't use his computer and I need the player before I go to school...AHHHH stupid life

Make sure you do it over a plastic sheet so it's easier to clean. Seriously, you know I'm kidding.

Let's start by you telling us which MP3 player do you have. When you connect it, does the computer recognize it in the drive directory? If it shows up there, you can at least reformat it and reload the player software (but you are going to need a working optical drive to use the CD).

If it still doesn't work, go buy an iPod!
