Parrish - if you are mad than all of us belong in a fucking asylum right along with you, because you're stories have that effect on people. they suck you in - it's inevitable and unescapable. the reader can't help but fall in love with your characters. ;D
i just read ch 29 - very *very* touching chaper. i am so relieved that volk lived and that they are all going to have their chance at a family. great work (as always), Parrish! ;D |

I agree 100% with amikana. We must be all insane if the writer we love is insane. And this is my response to chapter 29: Everyone together now, *clears throat* "AWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!" I absolutely freaking *love* this story!!!!!! You know parrish, I love your writing *so* much that I think I might just print out your stories and make them into a little book so I can always have "reading material" handy.

You know, that is not a bad idea. I think I will print them out too if that's okay with you Parrish.

Awww @ the three of them falling asleep together, so cute and touching...
I hope Lena doesn't put her guard down though, things might not be so safe yet! *is still slightly worried* About the idea of mixing Y&L's DNA to make a baby, i wish today's technology would allow that! How cute that baby would be! |

<Blush> Wow...no, I don't mind. I'm flattered that you all would want to keep that story on hand like that.
And yeah.....that kid would be *so*cute, wouldn't she? Parrish |

parrish122, I wanna give you a flash tip on fiction writing. I'm glad that in this story, Yulia pulled through, after all she's a strong one here. But if some plot requires that a caracter dies, it usually isn't up to the writer to keep that one caracter alive.
After all, I didn't want Lena to die while I wrote Repent. ;_; Believe me, I was looking for loopholes on the law created in my own fic so that she wouldn't die. Something most writers refuse to accept is that we're vessels to our stories: we create the beggining and the end, but in no way we create the in between. If you are a good writer, the starting point will have enough momentum for you to keep on the rest of the story. The writers here must know what I mean: there is a moment, always, around the third and fourth chapter of any story, that the story isn't yours anymore, but you're still property of the story. Like a car, see? Words that use us to get to where they need to go. |

Oh, I know what you mean Darje.
But the problem wasn't that I just didn't want her to die. I didn't *know* if she died. I was torn right down the middle, on that one. I had an idea of how the story would go from either result...but I just couldn't feel which way it was supposed to go. Once I started writing it again, it felt right though. It felt like it was going where it was supposed to. On edit--this has made me realize that something I was going to use in the story if Volk did die, can still be used. So thanks Darje! Your comments sparked off an idea. Parrish |

Chapter 30, "Homecoming" is up!
Oh, for those of you that are gamers...the tune Lena sings is the same one Zidane hears Dagger sing in the game, "Final Fantasy Nine". Parrish |

OMG LMAO@the cat joke!!! I was sitting in the computer lab and decided to see if you updated to give myself a break from work and when I got to that part, I BUSTED out laughing. Yeah, I got some wierd/not so nice looks. LOL And I agree that the letter was *very* touching and am glad to see Lena has long hair. I think it's *so* cute how they tease each other with their playfullness.
Getting back to the cat (hehe)--so they can get a dog? Can it pleeeeeaaaasssseeeeee be a beagle? Not that I'm biased towards beagles or anything. <winks> Well, as always, *wonderful* chapter Parrish and I can't wait for the next one! |

Chapter 31, "Nightmares and Promises" is up!
And I think it will be clear to those of you that didn't already know, that I've been trying to quit smoking, after you read this chapter. I'm really glad you all liked the last chapter. I'd been thinking that it was a shame that I wasn't going to be able to use Yulia's letter, since she didn't die. I felt that it was very powerful. Then I heard her say in my head (The character, not the *real* Yulia, I'm not quite that mad) "I would have mailed it if I'd lived *or* died" Which was, of course, true. So, this was the bit that I said earlier I had realized I could use after all. Seems like that decision was a good one. Parrish |

OMG LMAO@the smoking comment! That chapter was sweet and funny...great combination! At the beginning of the chapter when Lena heard Valeria and burst into the room, for some reason I just had *such* a vivid picture of Lena bursting through the door in "kill mode" ready to attack. Also, I like the hair description for Valeria. I have such a detailed picture of the characters (well, it's not that hard to picture Yulia and Lena physically, but I mean of their persona and I can really see what Valeria looks like in my head) and of their surroundings. I just freaken *love* this story! You rock my socks Parrish! And good luck with quitting smoking!!
EDIT: I just remembered something funny I wanted to tell all of you guys. The other day in biology lab I was randomly assigned a password to have access to the lab since it was on the Internet. Out of all the possible passwords, mine was "snarf" LMAO!!! Anyone that has read Parrish's "Forever For You" will get why this is so funny. I swear everytime I type that password, I just bust out laughing. As it is when I saw that it was my password I couldn't stop laughing and my classmates were like "oooooookay. Weirdo." LMAO |
