LOL@ the rabies thing! PT, you're not the only one with a rabies experience.
 During my junior year of high school I went to a petting zoo and got bit by a wallaby (you know, the marsuipal that looks like a mini kangaroo from Australia)--and don't ask how I got bit. haha Well anyway, the rest of the year I was known as the rabies girl because I didn't go to the docs to get it checked out and my stomach (where I got bit) ended up turning yellow. Definitely something I'll never forget. And talk about the foreshadowing to CETT! Man!! Every time I read something about either Rain or Yulia saying how long they'll love each other, I just get this "awwwwww" feeling. Great stuff as usual parrish.

damn...somehow i didnt come to check for updates in this board cuz i've been so damn busy but i got a reward (massive update!). i cant count how many times i've repressed lil tears of sorrow reading the rest of the new chapters! but...theyre...not real!!! *cries* aahhh ok im being dramatic but how can i not feel for the characters?! i love this, cant say more than that!

Oh my God. That was majorly depressing. *wipes a tear away* I can certainly see why you'd be emotionally drained after writing that. Even though Rain is dead (I knew she would die, but that description went straight to my tear ducks) I'm glad that's not the end of it.

OMG parrish! I seriously want to cry! I *never* want to cry over *anything* especially not a story! But geeze! You know, I think I've only posted something like this one other time and it was for one of your other fics. Holy crap I just can't convey what I feel right now and how touching this story is. I just..can't. My goodness I can't even imagine what else is instore since you say this isn't the last chapter. I am just seriously...just...WOW. OMG the whole Mom and Rain thing...priceless. Rain herself is just such a unique and strong character that I can say I honestly will never forget. Just wow. You're working on getting something published, right? Right????? *hint hint*

Chapter 27, "Guardians" is up!
And I want to thank all of you for reading this fic. As I said to someone earlier, a lot of people wouldn't bother to read a fic that doesn't have Lena in it until about 20 chapters into the fic! I'd wondered if I'd be able to get some of you to love the character Rain. Whenever we write about Yulia or Lena, we have the advantage of the fact that most, if not all, of our readers feel warmly towards the real life people and some of that spills over to the fictional characters. From what some of you have told me, I succeeded. And that *really* makes me feel fantastic. Thank you all, for taking the time to let me know how you feel about my writing.BTW, the fic *still* isn't over, in case you were wondering. Parrish |

Awwww what a sad and sweet chapter at the same time.
Parrish, I agree that since we know who and what Lena & Yulia are, it's easier for us to like their characters opposed to a character that is being introduced to us for the first time. But as I've said before, you've done a *wonderful* job bringing Rain to life and making your readers (well at least me anyway lol) like her just as much as Y&L. Great work.
