1. pois to Greece ( coz he combined strip-tease and sirtaki in a novel way )
2. Albania ( cute, 'fame' a la Tyrana )
3. Croatia ( I liked his voice )
4. Netherlands ( trite but audio-friendly )
5. Germany ( interesting - for ESC' standards )
6. Belgium ( it was let down and I can't understand why )
7. Turkey ( "I wanna bring you up", hey that was not bad forre )
8. Serbia & Montenegro ( Good Song, one you can play without feeling embarassed )
10. Ukraine ( song's ok rip-off SLavonic dances, best performance on the nite )
12. (still) Cyprus

the rest were particularly crappy, needless to say. Sweden are ripping off Abba for too long, Malta? haha, for kids ESC, Austria should be banned, and UK & Ireland? nil pois combined next time...

I knoww! I totally agree. They always send that same type of song - and always survive because of Abba myth! They never send something different with a new style.

Actually, it's the more underrated countries that are doing the best efforts to surprise the audience. The other ones (UK, France, Ireland, Spain, Norway, Sweden) just send the same kind of stuff and think that will do iit... Well, obviously not - and what's funny is that their strongest competitors are now countries who have much less money to invest in good songs and promotion than they do!

Absolutely true. I'm wonderring myself when we'll stop sending ABBA-rip-offs every year. So I'm more than glad that Eastern European counties joined the contest. Yeah!

I hope those times are "a passé". Sweden has a way better music to offer to European audience.

it's always the wrong rip off that wins anyway.. so yeah new stuff wouldn't hurt.

I just hope Denmark will stop sending participants from Idols shows soon. We should make more experienced singers instead, and stop trying to sound latin while doing so
