all i was saying was that It would be ironic seeing how much Yulia supposedly fawns over GaGa. It's obviously going to be pop/rock. I hope she keeps the electronics in place too.

but that`s how breakthrough artist began, even if Lena has a history musically, she`s now like a new one, so GaGa may take her to places we may never thought she could tour alone, but in cherry tree there are few bands I know and certainly GaGa and lena sounds a great combo! of course if Cinema is the chosen Band I say GO !!

Opening for a huge name is how artists start. Not many people unfortunately remember t.A.T.u, so they wouldn't know who Lena was anyway. If she tours with Gaga or No Doubt, she would have exposure so people know who she is. I would definitely love to see her tour with No Doubt.

The Monster Ball Tour will end in May 2010 and Lena's album won't be ready untin late 2010. I don't think Lady GaGa will tour again before releasing a 3rd album.

because they are still in the middle of the process of recording new songs. Lena will go back to LA in January to hopefully finish the work on her album, so...

Renskij is still on his postmodern/deconstruction trip, the new Russian Mini-David-Lynch. The nightmare isn't over yet. Actually it's really funny to watch Borya in action, but unfortunately he is on the best way to destroy the rest of Lena's reputation with his artsy brain-f*ck. Anyway, sooner or later she'll find her fairy prince, raise up some children and hopefully have a good laugh thinking back at his desperate attempts in nihilo-art-pop with her as his willing victim.

Ivan_de_Palma had an interview with Troy recently and I found the news on tatu.ru only now. The summary of the summary concerning Lena Katina's project:

Lena and the band's project will be called (not very surprising) Lena Katina,

well well... poor guys...
Lena must have returned to Moscow already last weekend.
They have recorded almost seven songs.
At the moment they don't plan to release anything.
Troy's voice was used as back vocals in one song.
They don't have a label yet.
They are planning shows...

We shouldn't forget that Troy was interviewed, because he is at times overly excited for something that doesn't necessarily happen at all.

Katina is a featured member on Cherrytree Record's website. Other artists that are presented there do have a connection to Kierszenbaum's record company. So, Lena's recent chat with him wasn't worthless as it seems. EDIT: She is a featured member and not artist yet, so acutally it doesn't mean so much...
