Because it's was the way they talked back then..a slang. Plus he was illiterate..not educated white trash. Try reading the whole book..its horrid, they talk like that throught out the whole book But it was a good book..i suppose.

Awwww, I always knew I typed fast - I just think about what I'm typing too much, and keep revising, so I write v_e_r_y s_l_o_w_l_y most of the time. But, when it's just copying like this ...

That's kind of irritating how they don't let you go back and fix things after you press the space bar.

Edit: I think the Finnish test is harder cause there are more capitals, and maybe the letters are stretched out over the keyboard more; that was my impression when I wrote the first couple sentences anyway.
