But I'm A Cheerleader - funneeey!!! Clea DuVall is absolutely HOT in that movie; not to mention that she makes one brill gay girl.

Fucking Amal - deep, lovely movie. great acting, great soundtrack. the "we don't give a shit" ending was GLORIOUS. i was like: "HELL YEAH!!!" it was absolutely... orgasmic

Better Than Chocolate - heh, i liked it. hated the red haired chick though. always smiling, like.. what was she ON?! anyhow, it had funny moments and not to mention that transsexual was ADORABLE

none of you have seen "Go Fish"??? Go go, rent it! I LOVE that movie (the first link in my signature is from it ) I really enjoy Giun Turner, there is something about the way she talks...

My Summer Of Love is just... psychotic, much more than it is lesbian. It displays all the bad tendencies a human being can possibly posses.

Saving Face - nice in general, but it has one downfall: how on EARTH could a traditional chinese mother just make a drastic switch from a zealous homophobe, who for a while looks like she could reject her own daughter cause she's gay, to an all-understanding mom which not only accepts her daugthers gayness but even SETS HER UP WITH A GIRL!! Far fetched? I think so.

well we're not talking about the most ___ qualities of a film, this thread is about the lesbian qualities in a film. freddie are you asian? no. are you chinese? no. are you taiwanese? no. do you have any long term asian friends other than on the internet? no. i don't think it's far fetched. i should know.

Not true... I loved Fucking Amal like the first 5 times I watched, but it does get to be boring and mundane the more you watch it.

The worst Lesbian Movie of all time (I'm surprised no ones mentioned it) has to be Gigli staring Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez. Ok this movie did nothing but add more fuel to the male idea that girls are lesbians until they find the right guy (no offence to the guys on the forum, you aren't included in the majority). Fucking Horrible movie!

I know about traditionalists and conseravtives in general. And it's not exactly a far fetched notion to think her mother would never be able to accept it in a way she eventually did (she might come to terms with it, but never be okay, or even content with it). Unless there's something special about chinese traditionalism in particular which makes for the drastic, hardly-believable switches in people's view-points just over night.
