Damn, your odds are way too good. I can see those spaghetti bolognese footballers winning by the odd goal and no more.
But now that you mentioned Hiddink beating Italy, and history repeating himself, well...I'm certain miracles only happen once.
So what do I win?

Bragging rights? But I wouldn't want to get overly concerned with that cause you'll lose in any case. Italians are PERFECT for an early screw-up.

Religion is an insult to human dignity. With or without it you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.

Bragging rights, I'll take it. I'll be in your face for the next MONTH if I win!
Will be like a cat with the tail up its ars...oh don't even mention it. I won't lose!

Italians are perfect for an early screw-up only when they're getting too confident, and their rubbish performances so far will ensure that they're more cautious than that.

I'm still convinced they have a mental blockage when it comes to mighty Guus. If Australians show the spirit they did against Croatia then they're defnitely in it.
And there's been talk of a first WC title since 82 in Italian press so their egos are prefectly aligned atm. Not to mention the whole scandal with match fixing in Serie A. 8 players from the starting lineup will have to seek new employment if their clubs get relegated to lower leagues.

I see the future... and I think it's hoppin' my way.

our team sucked big time. tomas punching the ball 2 times with his fist, idiot. too bad aussie goalman didnt manage to score more goals for us. and viduka, playing for them as well as čulina pff they should have helped like the goalman.

beating them in '97 and this yesterday has nothing to do with australians improving, our team then cant be compared to these boys who cant run or play

More comedy in the last day of the first round as the french are playing again...and oh boy thay're struggling to score vs the "mighty" Togo.
Looks like they're in for a long evening...

ok, they made it as runners-up from the group. I'm just hoping Spain will put them out of their misery.

It'd be an even worse World Cup if that happened. It's bad enough as it is.

All I know is that the Swedes in my neighborhood are screaming and honking horns

I bet on Germany to win the game, that's all. Didn't touch the live bets.
Not satisfied with the winnings though, I wanted more.
Next up: ARGENTINA SMASHES MEXICO.

Argentina cheated out of a clear goal in the last minute. Where the hell do they get these second rate referees?!

Well, I think most people thought Argentina would beat Mexico today, but who could have guessed it would be so easy?

Easy?! That was one heck of a nice game.. This was so not an easy win for Argentina Mexico deserved to draw with Argentina and then both have fair and equal chances at penalties..

From Fifa and the bookmakers who appoint them
anyways...at least a poor Argentina compensated us with perhaps the goal of the tournament in extra time.
So what do you think of Argentina v Germany?

Yeah, it's obvious RowerB is watching a different tournament
