I hardly have anything to add to the preceding posts, but I just wanted to say that
yes, I think
coolasfcuk is right in saying nothing like that could happen in America.
I live in the US and I've had relationships with friends that I consider pretty close and we've never touched
at all, not in any way
so yeah, I think it's more of a culture thing; this isn't America, but Russia ... and what everyone has said, when someone is hurt and besides you know them so well, it's nothing out of the ordinary at all to kiss her arm and help her.
I'm not sure what it's like here because I haven't seen the 2nd episode, but from the 8-minute video of the first episode I felt like everything was more or less staged ... to an extent I didn't feel in the Manskii documentary.
