This is a dark story but there is something warm about this chapter. It's obviously coming from the interaction, the feelings between those three characters. You can feel love and genuine caring.
They are all feeling guilty about enjoying themselves when Yulia is not there, especially Lena of course, and i can certainly relate to how she's feeling, the guilt of feeling *any* happiness when someone you love is no longer there. (It's just occurring to me that the Lena in The Chosen is also feeling the same thing.)
And once again, we have a chapter with no news about Yulia, which puts us in the same situation as the characters.
