I really like how the picture in your avatar is cropped, and also the colors are very soft, but not without a bit of brightness and contrast in places. Me likes very much. 10/10.

Kate, your signature at the top should be at the up left corner for a better balance in the pic in making a diagonal up-left/down-right which would pass through the picture on the wall- between the eyes-finishing to the shoulder.....if not the pic on the wall isn't so great...
