Music Videos
We started by downloading mp3s, now we can download HQ music videos, so i thought we could have a thread where people post the names of music videos that are currently playing on music channels and they think are worth a look (videos are available on p2p networks soon after they start being shown on TV). :D
Only post the names of new or recent music videos that are currently playing on TV, not oldies. And of course this is not limited to anglo-saxon music, it can be music videos from Russia, France, Germany, Japan or any other country. You can also discuss videos, it's not just a "post a name and leave" thread. Now, me being an appreciator of visual content mixed with techno-pop music, i'll recommend: Eric Prydz - Call On Me (not brand new, but it's still being aired a lot on TV) Cabin Crew - Waiting For A Star To Fall Studio B - I See Girls :chupa: |

50 cent - candy shop ashanti - only u chemical brothers - galvanize ... are my favourites for now... ;) |
Shizzer, I can't think of any cool videos right now. Am I the only person who found the 'Call On Me' video a turnoff? :bum:
|
I got scared when I dld the OZone video, so for now I'm staying away from dld any more lol.
But my picks are People = Shit (live in Japan) - Slipknot Right here in my arms - HIM idioteque (live on SNL) - Radiohead Knowing Me, Knowing You - Abba eh, I guess I don't have many videos downloaded :p |

Anyway, since we're talking of the 'Call On Me' vid, here's a French parodic version of it, it's called 'Dans Mon Lit' (In my bed) and i am exceptionly hosting it as it's quite small (only 6.5MB). Eddy Bar Claim - Dans Mon Lit :D |
The new System of A Down video. I haven't seen it yet - still on queue - but I doubt it'd be something to wank to :D
|
I've never seen the "Call on me" video, I'm really interested in watching it now since I like the song.. hmm.
Well, Akon's "Ghetto" is a pretty neat video, they show ghettos in it! :D Man, MTV is no longer working for me and this thread shows up.. *cries* :p |

As for "Waiting For A Star To Fall remixes" Mylo's is another version with another video with yet another hot chick and it's gonna be in the top 40 charts next week. :p But there's something better - at least musicwise - on yahoo.com as: yahoo music videos/Shakira/La Tortura. |
Apparently there are some Robbie Williams fans on this forum, he was on Hit Machine this morning and i've capped it so…
Download if you want > Robbie Williams - Tripping - Hit Machine (MPEG2, 130MB) |

Since noone here (apart from Spyretto and Khartoun) has even a passing interest in rock music, I doubt anyone will care what I think. But some current videos that I recommed are:
Coheed & Cambria - 'Welcome Home' This song has been abridged for the single release which is a shame. The full-length version clocks in at over 6 minutes and it is totally amazing. Coheed are real musicians in the truest sense of the word. Their latest album' Good Apollo I'm Burning Star IV...' is a total masterpiece that deserves to become a classic. Aiden - 'The Last Sunrise' Not their best track, but still a strong cut from their Victory Records debut 'Nightmare Anatomy'. I saw Aiden live at the Glasgow Barfly in October and words can't even describe how fucking amazing this band are. They'e one of those bands who really have the power to change your life. They are going to be huge soon, so catch them now before they become stratospheric. Bayside - 'Devotion & Desire' The video isn't anything mindblowing but the song is amazing. Bayside's drummer John 'Beatz' was killed in a tragic accident on Haloween. I just hope the band are able to carry on without him. They have so much incredible music that deserves to be heard. Avenged Sevenfold - 'Bat Country' This band are truly the nastiest bunch of bastards to ever have gotten a record deal. Don't let that put you off them though cos they can shred when it suits them, and the 'Bat Country' vid is one of the coolest vids of the year. |
