Vamos Guillermo!

What on earth is the BBC doing? Broadcasting the match with 2-3 minutes delay? No, more like 10 minutes delay :bebebe:
No respect for the license payers, tsc tsc I think we're gonna have a 5th set thriller  |
Two points away from championships for Guillelmo
I don't know what happened but if I were Gaudio I'd be damn p***ed :bum: |
Coria...no, Gaudio..no wait, Coria again.
No, it's definitely Gaudio ;) |
Oh-ho! What a nightmare but Gaudio actually won against all odds! What was his ranking? 44th or something? Mamma-mia! Fantastic!
|
Gaston the champion, and he saved two match points on the way.
What a bizarre game that was! :D |
Extraordinary.
|
Sounds like it was a killer match. I'll have to check the highlights tonight. Go Gaston Gaudio! (cool name)

Verity Bishop sounds fantastic!
Roddick plays Hewitt at Queens tonight. Should be a good match. |
These are the Wimbledon odds I can get. So who should I bet on? :D

dont bet on agassi ...
Former champion Andre Agassi has pulled out of Wimbledon to rest a lingering hip injury. The 1992 winner said in a statement he hoped to return in 2005. "In my preparation for Wimbledon I realised the injury was only worsened by the nature of the surface and would prevent me from competing," he said. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/tennis/3808319.stm has the full article |
rosh, thanks for that. :p Poor Agassi, he'll be back and he'll win!
|
Damn! Agassi's withdrawal has blown my £5 each-way 240-1 double on Mauresmo/ Agassi. Ach! I need another bet to cover my losses...any ideas?
|
i guess you can go with federer....crappy odds though :(
|
okay its from the sun .... but nice pics ;)

Another Wimbledon and another dose of Henmania...is over for another year! Thank fuck for that! Well played Super Mario! And Amelie is going to crush Serena tomorrow....no really!....No, REALLY!...You just wait and see...
|
Henman looked like he was about to burst into tears throughout the entire match today. He has no discernable spirit, or, indeed, personality.
Much though I would like an English winner at Wimbledon, when I watch Henman I invariably find myself supporting his opponent. I tipped Davenport and Federer to win this year, with both still in by Thursday of the second week I'm not doing too badly. |
I'm with you on Roger - my male-player "fetiche" but I think Lindsay would be a bit of a disappointing winner in the women's. Don't get me wrong - she's a good player and likeable enough but the women's champion should have more to offer - an all-court game, the ability to volley really well and that little bit of finesse....a bit like, well....Amelie Mauresmo! ;) Bon courage for this afternoon Amelie - on y croit toujours!
