Russian Holiday Music

It's that time of season and i've been getting into the holiday spirit and trying my hardest to find some Russian Christmas/New Years Songs. Since New Years is the bigger holiday over there it's pretty easy to find songs entitled "Noviy God" but i wanted to find Russian Versions of my own favorites, and well... last night i found it and it filled me with such glee that i have to share it here...

While i don't know how i feel about Filip Kirkorov singing "Silent Night" the cd seems great!

There's this great New Year song by "Diskoteka Avariya", it's even in a Pepsi commercial on TV here in Moscow. I'll see if I can find the mp3 for you guys.

Well, i found the full version of Kirkorov Singing "Silent Night"... it's actually really nice, but took a long long time to download (narod.ru)...

Thank you Greg .. took me whole night to download this song last night . and only tonight I got to listen to this. Its .. nice .. oh! There is a very tall purple xmas tree at center of pertonas towers.. let say .. umm five storey tall ..
