Producer Ivan Shapovalov: Some kind of brutality is waking up inside me

After her birthday party, singer Lama was in a hospital with skull-brain trauma, damage to the cerebrum and fractured jaw.

Last Saturday a girl with severe traumas was brought to the First hospital in Moscow. The doctors confirmed that she head skull-brain trauma, damage to the cerebrum and a fractured jaw. The patient was a young singer named Lama, whose debut music video “Dyshy” (“Breathe”) just appeared on the charts of Muz-TV.

Despite the severity of the girl’s condition, the doctors and the investigators found out that she spent her birthday in the “Podnebesnaya” studio on the 13th floor of hotel “Pekin”. “So you are not disagreeing with Lama’s version of events?”

“Why would I disagree with her. Let her live.” (Raises hand proudly.)

We doubted that Shapovalov was in a “good state of mind and memory”, so we talked to his director.

”There’s no scandal here. The girl never recorded here. We rarely have strangers in the studio. On the 13th of NovemberIvan was in Island, he has the tickets. I’m sure that the beat up rumors are just provocations, nothing more.”

Nah, kidding... it's kind of extreme that he would do such a thing, but you never know what a doper would do, right? Aha. But the picture (Lama after the party) to me seems kind of fake. I don't know why, really, I might be real of course, but there's just something about it... The bruising just seems so unnatural. Oh well. *Shrugs*

I sure hope she gets better, and that Ivan (or anyone) won't treat future guests in such a way.

Ivan is a wanker! I can well believe that he'd throw some chick down a flight of stairs for refusing his advances - the man is a pig! If he didn't do it then why doesn't he just say he didn't do it?

He speaks like a freak. The guy has problems with showing respect to the others. I think it's possible enough that he did it.

Personally, I don't think that this is true. The fact that I've never heard about Lama in my life means that she, as an unknown singer, might have chosen Ivan as a mean of becoming famous quickly.
Oh, and Shapovalov is always playing a role of a bizarre man when he is talking to the press. Should we be surprised?

I agree with your view on the dubious "after" photo. Don't black eyes turn yellow when they're healing? And that eye should be swollen shut if it's a few hours after the incident. She'd quite possibly be comatose and her face more swollen if she truly had cerebral damage and a fractured jaw. Take a look at Ogrish.com for photos of people with traumatic injuries - they don't look that pretty in bed.

And the "before" picture ... hmmm... I can see why Ivan would be interested in her, she looks like a porn star. This is another one of Ivan's attention getting stunts.

Ivan is always high on drugs, and usually that means unpredictable mood swings and bizzar behaviour. Who knows what could have been going through his head?

The theory of Lama using Ivan as a means of becoming famous sounds plausible to me, too, however.

But at this point, I think I'd more likely believe that Ivan beat up the girl, rather then the second theory.

But she just recieved those injuries very recently. It wouldn't start healing that soon would it? And the eye shuts close only if she'd be smacked directly in the eye. Looks like someone'd hit her close to the eye, but not exactly that area.

Every injury is different, and it heals differently depending on the person and medicine etc etc.

As I said, Igor's work looks more real than the picture of Lama.

Nice pic! Looks very authentic.

I think her injuries are fake. I admit it, I'm not an ambulance worker, but I've seen my share of people who've been beat up and no matter how hard you're hit, you swell up and look miserable. It's a publicity stunt. Ivan came out with the singing Chechen, now a battered porn star - what next?
