sailor moon
okay sailor moon was my childhood favourite show & i sorta miss it does anybody know where i can watch all the seasons online? starting from the top. idc japanese/english as long as theres subtitles. thanks!

The original Japanese version was the best. When they translated it into English it lost it's edge. |

yeah, I love sailor moon, the spanish version from mexico was really good, english is .... I'm gonna get all the seasons on dvd soon

wait were all languages of the show different meaning not the same as original? & i know that it has a lot of different names and i get confused for example, theres like manga?, sailor moon r, lol im lost.

The Japanese Sailor Moon anime actually had quite a lot of adult themes running throughout. These were all dropped when it came to translating the show into English because Cartoon Network didn't want to offend anyone.

Like Zoicite being male....and Malachite being male and being hump buddies. Yupppppp that wasn't in the English dub - they made Zoicite a chick. I liked how each of the little general dudes coresponded to a division of Earth though. I miss that show so much
 , it was so fun lmao. I remember drawing little sailor moon thingies like her little sailor tiara and taping it to my forhead LMAO.

HAHA. I love this thread!
Lets not forget, Cartoon Network DID at least keep in the fact that all the scouts were attracted to Sailor Uranus because they thought she was a dude. (I think it was Uranus, this was about the time the show went off the air in the USA when they were introduced so I didn't really have much interaction with these chraacters) I really wish they would have continued the serries in English. Wise Man was so freaky, I loved the episodes with him from the NegaMoon season. How did he die again? Does anybody remember the little weekend special they did back in like...1998 with an episode involving the scouts on the moon kingdoms ruins where there was this dude with a cape and scythe? He was freaky too. *shivers thinking about him* |

I believe the dude with the scythe was Sailor Saturn. Mars kept having premonitions of them all being killed and stuff. ( has all of season 3 on DVD =3 ) And i remember that special! i think it was called the Lunar Eclipse and it was some Huge Sailor moon marathon =3 i remember watching it all day xD

"You're Watching Lunar Eclipse - Only on Toonami" LMAO. I remember all those dorky little 1998 computer animations from toonami. HA! omggg. thank you for mentioning that title It didn't look like a sailor scout though is the only problem I'm remembering :-/. He was wearing like white robes.....they caled him some funky name. |

I use to watch the Spanish and English versions whan a was like years old!
I've seen the Japanese version too, which is the best. And the English version is worst than the Spanish. Blagh, horrible voice acting. And many scenes were censored.  The Spanish version didn't censored any scenes, but the translation was terrible. Not as bad as English, but there were still few mistakes. Like for example, when Sailor Moon meets Sailor Jupiter. Original Japanese Dialogue: Usagi (Sailor Moon): Makoto, can I call you Mako-chan? Spanish Dialogue: Serena (Sailor Moon): Lita, can I call you Lita? LAME!!! Anyway... My favorite is Sailor Saturn! She is so awsome! And so is Sailor Mercury! |

the name "usagi" sounds much better than "serena"... i never saw the last episode
the battle with sailor galaxia ... i love usagi's voice translated in spanish, she and sailor chibi chibi moon are my favorites sailorsOfftop: omg! i found the last episode on youtube hehe, but isn't the mexican version ... it's the spanish version :S |
