Lady GaGa come to my state plz por favor.
At least the Northern area of it. We're more liberal than people stereotype us to be!

This video of when she was younger = So gooood.
Obviously people are talking out of their rumps when they cast her off as a talentless hack. This video is definite evidence the girl is talented.

I've just noticed the guy in my avatar (Eiji Wentz) kind of looks like a girl. But for your confirmation, it is a guy.

I didn't like this video. Too much history for one song.

There's a song?

I'm not that impressed. I really love the song itself but it gets totally lost in the music video in my opinion. They shouldn't have cut it into several pieces. Well, it's kinda funny and sick but it's definitely not one of my favourite Gaga videos.

By the way - some fans on .ru claim they hear Fly On The Wall in the video (1:33 min) - Hm, what?

The entire video is an American culture commentary. It's hysterical.

The video is the important aspect of the entire idea, not the song. It's cut into several pieces because it's a mini-film, not a music video.

Elaborate.

Some fans are morons. Fly On The Wall isn't involved in this video at all. What the hell.

And I'm sorry, but reading the topic at tatu.ru is hilarious. Half the people who praise 220 are the ones bashing this video, it's the biggest ironic moment of my life. At least there was thought and editing involved in this.

I'm glad that I'm not part of that kind of culture. I'd expect crap like that from Calvin Snuff Dogg or Curtis Five Dimes (or was it less?), not from Gaga.

Somehow I thought that too, because the music - just let's call this accumulation of noise music - is so shallow, that it evaporated even before the video was over. On the other hand the entire idea of the clip is moonshine.

I guess the Telephone video will really only be entertaining to Americans (myself included) because it is a commentary on American Culture. As with any culture, somethings transcend and overlap other cultures, but there's always bits and pieces that really don't. It's not just a commentary on our culture, it's also a commentary on Hollywood culture.

But as with anything Lady Gaga does, there will be people who understand and love her work... And there will be people who don't get it and don't like it... And of course there will be the morons at the Fox News Network.

I am firmly in the "Loves it" category.

Offtop:
How anyone can even call Fox a "News Network" escapes me... But that is a different debate entirely.

Verka Seduchka looked better in this outfit than her! And spread more humour, of course. I hope nobody tries to convince me that this performance is a commentary on American culture, too.

ahahahahahah you just sent me into a 2 minute hysterical laugh with that Verka Serduchka comment!!!!!!!!!
Are you kidding, this is fucking GOLD! I dont have the nerves to watch it a second time to try and figure out if she was indeed ODing on stage.....

And the telephone video: HA! little disappointing- gaga is usually very strong visual performer, in fact that's her only strength.... and this video is full with re-created images.... like, i am not into the Amy Winehouse make up, or Byonce's Naomi Campbell retro hairstyle. And did it really cost this much $$ to make, that there were countless product placements?? Felt a little bit like a Eminem video, just slightly better, and that's a bad for gaga in my book... there still were couple of good moments however.

I can't convince you of something you refuse to believe. If you'd honestly look at the video and try to understand it versus calling it bland, you'd get it.

Then you've obviously never heard her sing or watched her play piano.

You probably don't understand pop culture, or pop culture history if you don't understand the significance of the product placement. It's an homage.

Have you seen her tour schedule? Not to mention the countless hours of work put into shooting, editing, designing and rehearsing. Plus the numerous awards ceremonies she's invited to in between all of this.

Tell me that one show, where she's completely exhausted, isn't understandable after the huge amount of time she's done touring. Including multiple hour long, fully choreographed, live shows the same day for many events. It's great that you ignore the rest of that specific show, or the others included in the list above.

Don't get exactly what you mean, my English isn't that good (ODing - eh, drug abuse?). Maybe we saw different videos. What I see on the HD vid - yes I had the nerve to watch a second time - well, I see that she was totally exhausted, maybe even threw up one or two times (wasn't so sharp the picture). To me signs that she is currently at her limits. When I watched first time this morning minutes before I went to work, I thought she was just kidding the fans. I guess it's time for a rest.

edit: while downloading and watching, Tim posted this impressive tour schedule. Nothing to add, it's obvious what happened.

Talyubittu, Oh I do love you sometimes! How about you come to Providence at the end of June and we go see Lady Gaga in Boston with Pookie?

It also explains why she's lost so much weight. She spends all day dancing her ass off... literally.

Holy 69 at that tour schedule. :| Being Lady GaGa must be tons of fun.
And I'm only performing in my schools talent show for the first time next week and I'm excited for that. Freaking goodness.
But I'm also excited that I might get to see her because she's finally performing here in August. Yesssss.

Manage your waste with a happy face!
I've just noticed the guy in my avatar (Eiji Wentz) kind of looks like a girl. But for your confirmation, it is a guy.

Kid, don't tell me I don't understand pop culture, OK? I work with it ... social commentary or not, this is one BIG MOTHERFUCKING product placement video, ok? Whether all the $$$ from it went into the video, her tour (which haha is sponsored by Virgin), or wherever else (her bank account) I do not give a shit

Argos, yeah, same video, except I half-ass watched it partially the first time.
Listing me her schedule since er existance? and? ummm... maybe her management should learn how to schedule better! No need to look like an ass on stage!

That's nice and all, but you are still missing the point, or are perhaps to young to figure out what the point is... In American TV Shows during the 1980's product placement was all the rage.... She's not doing it to make money. She's doing it to pay homage to Pop Culture's past.

So no, I'm sure you probably do understand pop culture from the present. But obviously, you're lacking the background to know why the "product placement" in Telephone is so fucking hysterical.
