Uhm... I'm, supposedly, downloading the whole album right now. Not sure if it is the actual album though, isn't it a bit soon for it to have leaked entirely on the net already?
Either way, I'll upload it if it's the right stuff. Edit: This is what I was talking about. I downloaded "the best damn thing 2007.rar", and I got Blackfield instead  (Though some of the Blackfield songs aren't that bad (?))I downloaded an album which contained these songs, but I couldn't listen to them 'cause of some author's rights or whatever. So in the end I just have I can do better (I don't even know if it's a song of the album or it already exists or even if it's Avril singing) and Keep holding on - and I think that one's right. Meh, I want that friggin album already. |

at first I thought that "girlfriend" is pretty stupid...I was a huge fan of "under my skin" but somehow this song makes it into my mind...catchy refrain!
Avril wrote this song as she was really drunk, and a lot of the songs would be that catchy - party songs. She wants more action on stage and she likes this kind of music...that's what the moderators from MTV Germany last week said. Maybe that's the reason for: "Hell yeah, I'm the motherf*cking princess" But damn...she's right  in a positiv way!

I too thought 'Girlfriend' might become the annoying hit of the moment, but now I think it's quite fun. I only just watched the video, and is it just me or does Avril look really similar to Kristen Bell from Veronica Mars, in the blonde wig??

Personally I think she is completely different... she is all peppy and she sounds like a cheerleader which was faaaaaaaaar from what she once was.

So...I was on youtube and found some concert vids of avril live.....

Sorry to bring the negativity into this thread, but I can't stand Avril
 Did anyone see the interview she did on that English show? It was not too long ago I think. She totally didn't get the English humour, and she wasn't even playing with it... The dude told her Venice smells like eggs, and she was like ".......", jeez Avril, lighten up
