i think that you know this vocalist. i'm in love with him new song called 'bounce' and the video to this song is amazing. his new album 'come closer' will be released in 7.04.06, and single 'bounce' you can buy from 24.03. i hope you like this song. hehe!tarkan's my country's most popular singer without any doubt.i liked him before but his present songs are far worse than the old ones.but still i have to admit that they are really good.as for his first english album,he tried to do this for almost ten years.this has been a topic of conversation in here and sometimes a thing to make fun of.but now people have lost their excitement and dont seem to care about his english album.anyway ill listen to the album and comment on it soon.

. New Tarkan's album called "Come Closer" is amazing. My favourie songs are "Shikidim" (English version of turkish "Sikidim"), "Shhh - Love Speak" and "I'm Gonna Make You Feel Good".
Anyone listen this album? Any opinions?

Ah yeah I remember it clearly... And Shikidim too! I liked that, it was catchy. Alot of people I know (or used to know...) as Turkish so they loved the songs (Wait.. he IS turkish right? Or else I'm confusing him with someone else).

He looks kinda creepy though, like the guys who whistle at me and my friends when we walk down the street (it happens rarely, but these scumbags show up every now and then... ohhhh I hate them so much *shakes fist*)

Edit: I'm listening to it right now and I like it, it has a nice turkish melody. But I must admit it's better in his own language - as usual.

(Same goes for Tatu, for some reason lyrics usually get really lame when translated to English...)

We got to learn a Turkish dance once at school, I don't remember it though, too bad.

i got to hear some songs from the english album of him and i dont think it will be a success.şıkıdım sounded much better with its previous version.i liked in your eyes though,whlie everyone else here in Turkey likes aman aman(why dont we?)more.

I think it's the same situation with Tatu, their russian songs sound so much better. I like Tarkan's turkish song, they've got turkish style, but I like his new english album. It's good that he back, cause he is very talented singer.

i dont think its the same situation with tatu.tarkan became popular with his Turkish song in western europe also that tatu just did ja shosla s uma a hit in balkans and baltic countries.they did an english album and everybody got to know them but i dont think everybody is talking about tarkan right now.

i like the idea for start the fire.it reminds me of george michael's faith.i heard somewhere here that the next single would be just like that and i think thats just a boring song,even the most boring one in the album.By the way,Tarkan's gonna appear tonight in Miss Turkey 2006 Beauty contest with his songs.j.lopez was gonna come but she postponed her visit to Turkey then organizers had to bring him there.
