How Fast Can You Type?

Since I was sending in applications and needed to learn my words typed per minute, I decided to take a little typing test. When I took typing [i know theirs a fancier word..but i cant think of it atm] class in frosh year, i only averaged about 57 wpm's. Good to know that the hours upon hours spent sitting infront of the computer amounted to something

I can get an wpm average of about 68, but... i cheat at typing... like using nothing but periods as a use of pausing and not capitalizing except at the beginning of sentences. I don't capitalize i's... but i will for names. hrmm that's weird.

These tests just throw me off... cause of that darn SEMI-COLON! hahaha, but on the test i got the same accuracy as Nataku, i misspelled 9 words though [cause, i got ahead of myself, and didn't realize it until it was too late]. And i think my gross speed was 56.

sigh.

LoL...I tried it once and me being the lord of typos (Yes..ask anyone ) noticed that if you go behind on a word..your score goes down 1 point everytime you press the spacebar

Haha..I'll try it again later

Even though my job description is 'Accounts Assistant', I regularly fill-in for the secretary when she's away. I feel obliged to get a good score on this test so remind me to take it at a later date when I haven't consumed quite so much cider....... *hic*

aw, this was fun. I've never taken such test and always wondered how fast i typed!

so, here is my score:

TYPING TEST RESULTS

Here are your full test results:

- Test Name: Fishing in Finland
- Date: 2004-01-06 13:44
- Test Time: 01:00
- Gross Speed: 59 WPM
- Errors: 0
- Accuracy: 100%

- NET SPEED: 59 WPM

not too speedy.. but no errors..yey, see i dont always do that lazy typing i do here... with all those dots and no cap...writing all those papers for school helped

not too bad for a person that recently cut off the middle finger of the left hand, and after re-attaching it... it is basically NOT used to typing anymore ... so that's 9 fingers speed .

Anyway:

- Test Time: 01:00
- Gross Speed: 60 WPM
- Errors: 0
- Accuracy: 100%
- NET SPEED: 60 WPM

And

I never read much of it.. the first 30 words or such had some sense in them

I remember it from the movie, since I don't read books as much as I should.

Sooo.. Cool made me take the test 'cause apparently I was typing fast, so.. The first time (actually it was the second, but first after Cool told me) I accidently pressed "Next" twice and couldn't realise that the results could be sent to me since I missed them.. Oh, I'm so stupid. Anyways, I took the test and here are the results:

Test name: Huckleberry Finn
Gross Speed: 91 WPM
Errors: 15 Words
Net Speed: 76 WPM
Accuracy: 83%

Not too bad.. but so many errors.. it's because I wasn't looking at my typing.. when I type I can see there is something wrong so I go and correct it.. here I had to feel the keys when I made a mistake... But I'm happy with the results
