I think the author's notes are a good idea. They are like going behind the scenes of the story.

Author's Notes
Yes, definitely keep the author's notes! They give out nifty pieces of info which are actually really interesting--especially the quotes from poems, and I like to know what's going through the author's mind as they write. Keep up the great work!:-D

This is so odd going from wanting to kill someone to suddenly liking them...I like it!
 And as far as the author's comments...that's a must! I really think it adds to the meaning of the chapters. Great work Parrish!

And no, the fact that there are no author's notes this time doesn't mean someone gave me a hard time about them. Everyone has been positive about them, actually. Chapters nine "More Equal Than Others" and ten "I Believe In You" are up. Some of your questions are answered. I hope you enjoy these chapters. On edit--I can't believe I forgot to say this. Someone PMed me and asked me if this fic was influenced by "The Handmaid's Tale". I had not read the book in a while, but as soon as I read that PM, I knew my subconscious had been influenced by it for sure. If you haven't read it, you should. It deals with a theocracy as well. OH_MY_GAWWWWWWWWD! *picks up jaw* OMG....ending to Chapter 9....AHH!!!! *jaw hits floor again* <giggles> I am just so utterly speechless right now I'm actually giggling. I *never* saw *any* of this coming. Geeze you were right when you said you were going to blow our mind with this story!!! I laughed a little when I read the first line of Chapter 10 cause was like "Hey! Lena and I had the same reaction!" LOL Oh my goodness!!!! I can't get over what Yulia just said!!!!! THIS IS SO FREAKEN COOL!!!!!!!!! Looks like I'm going to have another bruised jaw from this story. WOW. *goes back to read chapters again*

the revelations in chapter nine are very surprising - i love it! i've never read anything quite like this fiction, it's really unique. and chapter ten was just sweet and primal and [sigh] really beautifully written. great work, Parrish!!! I can't wait until you update again!

Okay, there was a certain line (I won't mention which one cuz I don't want to ruin it for anyone) that made me fall out of my chair.. in a good way of course, but the thing is .. I should have just stayed on the floor because everything after that just kept 'flooring' me.

I am *so* pleased with the reactions to the last chapters! I'm going to have to get poor Dare2dream a sling for her jaw. You know, when I wrote the opening line for chapter ten I thought, "Some people are going to have the same reaction as Lena."
