It is my lot
To never experience love.

Banished from the warmth of companionship;
Living under the chill of solitude.

Fate leaves me wanting,
Aching for that which is forsaken.

Past wrongs are now righted,
Weaving threads of arrogance and indifference
Into a body of unrequited feelings and desires.

Learning such lessons;
Accepting that which I have created,
But still searching for a way
Out of the dark.

Unraveling the wealth of misdeeds
For which I pay.
Attempting to mend presently
That which was frayed in days past.

Very much liked in this side of the continent. I like the way in which it develops... tho I think it was cut a bit short. Didn't you have anything else in mind for this poem?

I think I get what you mean now. Maybe I could add more to it, but that was the mood I was in when I wrote it. Hopeful, but lost and unsure of what was to come---a little disjointed. Make any sense?

Love is your nature - you are always in it......
someone may be close or not to confirm.
but it's not of importance.
Only Life is - love just a shadow of real life in you!

Be alive in yourself and love will follow you like hell........
