Well, it's cute. Like others sad, she needs to get a little louder, but the singing is not bad overrall. It's indeed better than with t.A.T.u.; I mean, I haven't heard Lena singing at an OK rate for a.G.E.s.!

The melody is beautiful. The lyrics are blah, nothing new there. And about the arrangement: it's not the final version, so I'll expect more instruments in this one. And a little bit more of vocal changes. x)

It's not a song that will go down in music history but it's perfectly suitable for the radio. I really like it that she at least try to play an instrument while singing. Everyone who are complaining about her voice should try it, it's not that easy and requires a lot of practice or great talent.

I think this is one of the best she has done since her career. And sure, she needs to improve her singing, but she doesnt need to belt or something like that. Fragile vocals can be very controlled aswell

Of course, no complaints about the song - good harmonies and melody, much better for a singer than many songs of the third tatu album, although it lacks some big hook. But I think the Katina project won't aim much at some simple minded mainstream folk (you know, something like "Gaa-gaa, hullallaa-a"). The problem is the interpretation. Take a deep breath and show off! Better be loud and full of self-confidence (and sometimes sounding false - see Alexander Rybak) than be unassertive, almost timid (especially in an almost private demo session). Lena's voice has an amazing timbre, but it can't show it's potential this way.

We are talking about somebody, who does this as her sole profession, right? I mean, she doesn't study medical science or has a job as chief editor of "Vogue Russia" and sings for fun in her leisure time. I expect practice and talent. Now that I stop to think about it, lyrics apart the Lena's Rehearsal song is reall good. I mean, the lyrics are not the worst ever, but they're very much "I've-heard-it-before". Thank God it's nothing like t.A.T.u.'s (Running Blind, maybe).

The singing is OK, for a non-recorded version, the melody changes though the song, it's not the simplest ever; I mean, congratulations to team Lena. I'm hoping this song is the worst of her album (being not-so-bad) and that she keeps on working on her voice; when you realize other songs who can't really sing well do fine, you can see Lena'a able to do it, too. She should work on her presence @ stage, too; be more ferral, agressive -- even if she's kind at the same time.

Just random thoughts. x)

Hello my dears!!!

What can I tell you?
I returned to Los Angeles to get ready for the shows on May 30th and June 12th!!!
Sooooo many things need to be done – my head is spinning!!! I don’t know where to start!!! And we’re running out of time!!! From Monday I’m again working with vocal coach, rehearsing with guys, recording songs… It would be nice to write some new music as well.

I have such cool guys working with me!!! They became my second family!!!! I’m so lucky to have such musicians!!!! Yup!!!! And I’m in such a fantastic mood right now!!! I so want to have great performances!!!
I’m already getting nervous!!! :-)
It’s just my emotions going off scale!!!

This is not big news and since I'm not following this project too much, I have not a clue if it can be considered news to some of you at all, but one of the musicians said to me that Lena has now much more responsibility At least this Facebook status update of her "official"-(and also run by Zhenya)-page is from Katina herself and therefore quite funny indeed:
