Miss Sejima is one of Japan's finest architects and she and her partner Mr. Nishizawa (aka SANAA architecture) designed the absolutely marvelous and gorgeous S-HOUSE:
http://community.webshots.com/photo/...23071648JqezwY - day-night view http://community.webshots.com/photo/...23074491BSTxOQ - the street side http://community.webshots.com/photo/...23074588vYHcDi - interior shot The house is basically two 'cubes' - the interior 'cube' is made of wood panels/doors that open or close, the exterior 'cube' encloses the interior one (with the corridor/cirrculation of the house between the two cubes) and protects it from the outside. exterior is made of corrugated polycarbonate .... and so on and me and couple of my classmates were fortunate enough to get THAT house during our 2 case-studies project.. so we got to built a 1/2"=1'-0" scale model of the house to study it ... and we decided that it takes lots of thought and intelligence to be able to make a white box so fucking great, flexible, and beautiful! Good pics COOLIE... I have no doubt that Miss Sejima is finer architect BUT.....
If you would offer me this house I won't accept it ... 1/ Because When i'd come back at home the evening I would get the feeling to be istill n an office .... 2/ Because , of course, you have a great day light...but you have almost no windows....no direct view on outside(i mean you have windows in one side ...but they are too big so no privacy...and other parts are absolutely without windows)...you don't see the sky , you just have the feeling it's here because of the light...claustrophob here. But I agree that it's an interesing research for people who like this kind of house.

hihi nath, it is in Japan ... where people wanna be exluded from the outside when they are 'inside' ... it is also TINY! pics are misleading.... that house is 9m x 9m and 6 people live in it

No...no art ...just hazard little queen...try yourself: you just put a frozen slice of lemon in a glass full of white wine....and if you are too lazy to make the dishes the evening after eating....you have the surprise to find it the tomorrow morning , like that , with bubbles under if the glass wasn't finished to have been drunk...hihi...
