I'm not sure you guys will like Diana, cuz she's anything BUT like Tatu. But since we have a forum of Russian Music, and Diana is Russian, I thought I might as well introduce her to you.

Her name is, obviously, Diana Gurtskaya. She started singing at an early age. She has a unique, child-like voice. Oh, and she's blind.

Thanks Kate .. I think its a very sad song .. and somehow .. I think what she said to her mother about the guy actually mean the opposite .. isn't it?

exactly .. that guy is a bad person .. told you...but she wont hurt her dead mother with her sad love ... . better kept him in the dark and just tell that he is all nice ..

I'm pretty sure she is telling her mother how nice the guy really is, and that she needs her advice on what to do next cuz it's her first love.

Cuz she is inexperienced? Maybe she needs advice on her wedding plans? There could be millions of advices a daughter can need for her mother. Like when I was dating this guy I really liked, I told my mom everything about him, and she would tell me what her point of view is etc. It's important, mother's advice, even if it's not critically needed.

but .. sometimes .. you can't tell your mom everything .. some people would keep trouble to herself than to let her mother knows how bad she was treated .. so not to make her mother feel sad ..

Thanks for the information about her, Katbeidar. It's really interesting that she's blind because she made it anyway so I admire her for that.

I think the song is about a nice guy, but how should I know? I think her mother is dead, and she knows that her mom wouldn't like this guy, so she feels guilty because she can't let her mother understand how he is different, so her mother would be "sad" to know about her daughter being with him. That's why she's "keeping him in the dark" - hiding him from her mom because she knows her mom would be devastated if she found out about their relationship, and she doesn't want to hurt her mother.

But if you look at it from another point of view, I'm sure it could as well be about sad love...

denial, about the "mom" song, I'm sure she likes the guy, cuz I understand the lyrics, and they clearly indicate that the girl loves the guy. Maybe my translation is bad?

i've been trying to get this song, or at least know who sings it for almost a year. I once heared it in a bar in dubai by a group from belarusia.

this song is a killing.
