I think the problem Britney has is high expectations people have regarding her outside appearance. She's supposed to be this supersexy blonde sex godess, so when she appears in public looking less than spectaular people mock her. It's totally normal and applies to other well known people too. I'm sure no one would call her ugly if she was just a run-of-the-mil girl posting her pics on this forum.
That being said... her music is still crap, though. Not that bubble-gum pop in general is crap. Just HER version of it. She lacks the talent of a really good singer (often sounding like she had a throat disease) and her songs aren't as catchy as some of her counterpart's. |

Oh I totally agree! The only reason for her success is her looks...but a lot of people these days don't think she's got those either...so I think time may be running out for Britney. She's not the 17 year old in a school uniform she once was. Oh well, it's not as though she needs the money!

The reason to why people still pay attention to her is 'cause she's ugly now. She was this awesome young sexy popstar, decided to ditch the cute image and go sexy instead which caused a bit of scandal and many horny men.
One night she got reeeaaaallyyyy drunk and decided to marry one of her friends or whatever, and the marriage last for like... 50 hours! Wow, that's longer than most Hollywood relationships! Way to go, Brit. That's when it started going downhill. Britney doing these awkward things, but the public LOVED IT! A sexy drunk bitch. It was the calm before the storm as we say. People were always saying "Hmm, I wonder what is going on in Britney's life right now?". Then she suddenly married an ugly trailor trash pimp who had left his 7 month pregnant wife for Britney, and somehow his seed from hell ended up in Britney and they now have some ugly baby boy who is never visited by his dad anyway 'cause, as I say, his dad is too busy recording his dumb album and adding friends on Myspace. This whole Britney phenomenon has made people pay attention to her, and everyone wants to know what stupid thing she says or does next. We wait impatiently. |
