Okay, sorry but this has been annoying me for some time now. October and April was recorded 2005. It's a demo for the song that was released 2009, in which Lena was replaced. It has nothing to do with the solo project, whatsoever.

Oh, also, she has a mix of a song called Tenderness. Never heard the vocals before. The Spanish version of Never Forget is called "No Voy A Olvidarte", and the Russian version of IRS is called "Ot Vetra". There is a Russian version of "Stay", and was confirmed by Boris. There are a few other Russian and Spanish songs.

Lena's take on the X-mas song is reaaally sweet! _
Despite some minor flaws while performing live, her recordings are adorable! Such a mature voice. I'm sure her album won't disappoint us fans, at least (like they did in Waste Management/Happy Smiles and even Dangerous and Moving).

There's something I've been meaning to ask for a long time here but I couldn't figure out the right thread, so here it goes (and I hope someone can help me out!): did Lena's collab with T-Killah and Julia's with Bilan get anywhere on Russia's top 100 hits (I mean, the official one)? If yes, which position?

Julia & Dima has peaked #43 at Top 100 and I have no info about Lena's duet. But to be honest I don't think it has ever entered top 100 at all.

Here is the sheet for "Lyubov' - suka" on tophit.ru. The last two lines in the spreadsheet are the ones you want to know, the general weekly chart, where they got #47 in mid August and the last line, the audience choice, where they were much better, actually #5 twice in summer.

The ranking in Russia's radio chart list doesn't tell much. You get airplay only when you pay for it or are in some way closely connected to the fat cats of the biz. Even the top stars of the last years may get low rankings. Dima Bilan had no top 10 result for more than a year and for MakSim it's even longer and more embarrassing. The last two singles didn't even get into the top 100, and the last one released just before Christmas looks to become the same disaster. Serebro's last single didn't get into the top 100 as well, all other singles before were top 10.

The group dissolved because of lack of a creative future. If there is no new input, then it makes no sense to reunite. It will not go better than in the last years of their work, no - existence together.

It's not officially released to radio rotation yet. Due to last Tkillah single still being heavily rotated in charts. Proper release in January

Tophit.ru is really a reliable source, but it counts only airplay on radio and tv, and airplay depends heavily on arbitrariness of the bosses, at least in Russia. Therefore the general chart does not represent the real music taste of the country. That's the reason why I prefer their audience choice chart, which comes much closer to what people want to hear, knowing that many young people wont even listen to radio any more, because the program is mostly for people beyond 40.

A single market doesn't exist (at least not for Russian artists), and the album market has completely broken down. Even the most popular pop stars can't sell more than 10.000 copies of a new release. Taking into account that even a cheap release costs at least $ 150.000 and the CD goes over the counter for 150-200 rubles ($ 5.00-6.50) a physical album release is a loss for everybody. Counting so low sales numbers in a country as vast as Russia is, is an effort hardly anybody wants to sit through, especially if nobody wants to pay for the service. We can only look what some big department store chains publish, but that's not really reliable, and there is Billboard in Russia as well, but the reliability isn't any better, they suffer from the same problem, they can only overlook part of the (album) market. At least their video chart gives a decent estimate of the acts which are 'in' (older people rarely watch pop music channels). Remains to remark that some artists can't even afford a video single release.
