Last night:
1. Star Wars Episode III Anarkin is simply adorable .. I love the man behind Darth Vader... since he was a little boy. I think he is much much more interesting then Luke. 2. Madagaskar I love this kind of movie. After the show was about 11.30am .. it made us so hungry and and craved for meat! Good thing some place still open. |

Thought I had already posted these two:
Wicker Park - It was ok. Not as bad as feared, but I figure the original is better. But then again it doesn't have Diane Kruger and Rose Byrne in it Shattered Glass - This one I liked a lot. True story about a journalist making up stories for "The New Republic" and they are printed as facts. Trouble starts when an online newssite starts digging further into one of many articles. Really cool movie. |

Speaking of movies to wanna see...
... is anybody else excited about Rent? [Click to watch the trailer to the movie.] The last film I watched was "The Bone Snatcher" - definitely one of the worst movies I've ever seen, but it had a hot guy who made it worth watching. I'm easy to please. |

I go to the multiplex-cinema very rearly, cos the tickets here are MEGA expensive in the evening. But last time I went to watch a German movie "Der Untergang" ("The Downfall"). It's about Hitler's last days in Berlin and Berlin's downfall. Very impressive and very well made. Also tough. And real. And it was educational for me as well (otherwise I'm pretty dumb in history). So, I don't regret I paid more than 7? for the ticket.

Saw The Interpreter as well. Well, indeed nothing particularly to mention, except what I already knew: Nicole Kidman Gotta love the woman. So it was worth watching just for her
Planning to see House of 1000 corpses Hopefully tonight. Will post comments afterwards. Dana The L Word Horse is in it. Guess in this movie she'll be the horse-corpse? I shall see and I shall comment. |

Back to say I watched House of 1000 Corpses and that was possibly the worst "horror" movie I have seen in my life. Bad script, bad acting, bad directing... Definitely NOT worth watching. There's not even enough blood in it as suggested. And it's not scary or gruesome at all. It's just plain weird. And stupid. Waste of time.
Now I always wanted to watch I, Robot and I finally found the time (and mood). And boy, I don't regret it not one bit! That must easily be one of the best (sci-fi) movies around. There's the special effects, the feeling of terror at times, the suspense, the wit, even the "aww" factor... Will Smith is brilliant. Then again, I've always liked him Anyway, that movie had me on the edge of my seat from the moment it began till it ended. And I was sorry it ended. Now that is a great movie right there. Definitely a must see. In case you haven't already |

I watched L'effrontee, a French movie from the 80s. Anybody familiar with this movie? Charlotte Gainsbourg is infatuated with a girl her age - about 14 years old and a piano prodigy.
Typical french movie, it'd probably be classified as a bit risque by today's conservative standards... reminded me of Tatu, somehow |
