just a thought: why are people who practise extreme religions (whether it's catholicism vs protestants in ireland or islam in the middleeast or even scientology) not acknowledged and treated like other people with a mental illness? i'm not saying people are sick because they believe in something but when it gets extreme and to the point of people being brainwashed (for lack of a better word) into thinking it's ok to kill other people.. i'm not trying to pick on anyone, just wondering..
i grew up (like most danish people) with very relaxed religious values and i chose not to belong to any religion.

off topic: this is my first day off sick since december and i've never been more bored - hence the time to think about these things.
