My Chemical Romance

I went to the MCR concert last night. It was fucking amazing! They totally exceeded my expectations. Mossopp you were right.

I'll post the details of the night later on... I'm at work right now so I don't have the time. But I do have time to post the songs they played and in the order they played them.

I'm not Okay (I Promise)
Thank you for the Venom
You Know What they do Guys like us in Prison
To the End
Give 'em Hell Kid
Ghost of You
Cemetery Drive
Helena (my favorite song!)

I have pictures to, I just have to figure out how to extract them from my phone...

haku: This thread was split from the 'Daily Happiness' thread because it became a topic of its own.

Nothing from the first album? That's strange.
If 'Helena' is your favourite song you have to see the video! It fucking owns!

*squeals* Show me! Show me the pictures!! Get any good ones of Gerard?
C'mon, c'mon - DETAILS!!!

My Daily Happiness:
Actually, I don't know if this is a Daily Happiness or a Daily Embarrassment - I'm going to see Fightstar at the Glasgow QMU in May.
I never thought I'd be in a situation where I was going to see Charlie Simpson in concert.
It's a funny old life....

I know, I was thinking the same thing. I haven't gotten my hands on the first album yet, but I have about half of it on my computer. I would have loved to heard skylines and turnstiles live.

I'll do that.

You're in luck mossopp, I have successfully extracted the files to my computer... Now I just have figure out how to load them onto webshots or I suppose I can e-mail them to you now... and Yes I do have a couple good shots of Gerard. I was right up against the baracade. So they are about as clear as camera phones can get.

Haha! I never thought I'd see an MCR thread on a tATu board! This fucking owns! This thread shall never die - I shall single-handedly keep it alive if I must!
Gerard is the MAN! Worship him.

Okay, you keep mentioning them so I had a listen to some samples. Now I'm curious as to what the whole songs actually sounds like. I'll get back to ya.

I know it's awesome... anyway to my story... I'll try to be as detailed as possible...

Scott and I left Attleboro at about 2:00pm and listened to 95.5 WBRU, and tried without success for about half an hour to get through to the DJ... when we finally got to talk to her it was like 5 minutes before she was leaving. So she promised to leave a note for the next DJ telling him he had to play MCR for us because we were on our way to the show. Of course about 10 minutes later we reached Worcester and totally lost the signal.

Scott was like, "What the hell!" Until he remembered that my MCR CD was probably in the CD player because it's the only CD I've been listening to for the past 2 weeks.

We got to Lowell and the Arena at about 3:08pm. We parked and got out of the car. Scott asked me if I was bringing my coat, and I told him, "No fucking way... it's not even cold out." which is true it was only like 40 degrees outside...

We walked to the line which was already halfway down the side of the arena... but we didn't care. Scott went to light a cigarette with his last match, in the wind (dumbass) and it promptly went out. So while he's cursing his head off I asked this Kid in front of us if has a lighter. The kid pulls out five and says, "Take your pick."

to be continued.......................

USELESS FACT: Slug from Atmosphere is a fan of MCR and has toured with them in the past.
