How f---in' good is Travis Barker?? I downloaded some of his solos on Kazaa today... TIGHT! That guy is serisouly nuts. He's very verstile in style too. He can play fast and HARD, or a slower groove, and it's all flawless. He's definitely one of the best in the biz.

I believe that title belongs exclusively to Keith Moon.
I think he is rather sloppy actually, but guy does he sound good!

If you are talking best ever, it's really hard to look past Buddy Rich... but in mainstream music right now, Travis Barker is definitely up there.

For style, I'll go with Chris Bratton from CHAIN OF STRENGTH(Cali hardcore band from the 80s). I think he also played on the Breeders album, but I'm not sure. Best style hands down! For one thing, he used to beat those drums like they owed him money! On the real, he plays harder than anyone I've seen. Also, he was known to do kick jumps, flips over his set, and pick up cymbals by the stands and hit them togther, all without missing a beat. Intense!
