Actually, Ill tell you a secret: I have nail 'allergy' .. I cannot stand long nails, have to cut mine all the time otherwise i cant touch things, it drives me insane! So usually its the other way around, me complaining about sasha's nails .. but i have decided, I like them long (well, somewhat long - lets say medium size), so here is a resolution for ya: not to complain about nails! that's HOT!

it's not even a secret since you told me before. Which is why I found it even more funny that you posted not cutting them.. but with you trying to make sasha do the cleanings and such, I can imagine her being forced to cut your nails aswell

The kite thing is confusing me too.

Well, I haven't done either since I was 7 years old I think. Flying a kite again would be interesting, I remember it being a ridiculously awesome experience. As for smoking, just thought it would be nice to have 2 reasons for carrying a lighter. Ususally, I just carry it around for when a young lady would happen to need it.

Ok guys.. long time no see...

Resolutions:

1) Finish my new novel
2) Pass my A-levels.
3) Pass my guitar exam.
4) Get a new acoustic guitar.
5) Get into uni!!

I've decided on 2 resolutions so far -

1. Stop biting my fingernails.
I miss being able to paint my nails black. I've always thought that looked cool (although IMO it does look better on guys than girls) but I can't do it anymore because my nails are all scabby and chewed. The thumbnail on my right hand is only 3mm long!
2. Go to as many gigs as humanly possible.
Having my flat in Glasgow has allowed me to go to almost 10 gigs in the last year or so. And it's struck me that the only time this year when I've actually been able to let go of all the shit and live for the moment has been when I'm out watching a band. Thusly, I have decided that the best course of action is to go to as many gigs as I can and have as much fun as I can in the process, even if it makes me terribly ill (*cough*Atreyu*cough* - it was a chest infection, I swear!! )

If I think of anything else to add to the above extensive list between now and the 31st I'll be sure to mention it. Anyone got any suggestions? (Anyone who says "quit drinking" will get a well-aimed slap!)

OK, I've got a couple more things to add to my 'Resolutions' list.....

3. Tell Sarah I'm gay.
This woman considers me to be her best friend and yet I continue to lie to her on a daily basis. I know she's not a homophobe and I know she won't disown me so why can't I just tell her? She'll be hurt at first but it won't be the end of the world - we'll sort it out. I'm sick of being myself around people I barely even know but having to act like someone I'm not around a friend. It's deceitful and wrong and it has to stop!

4. Ask Molly out on a date.
OK, I'm still working on this one. There's a 99.99999999998% chance she'll simply shoot me down in flames and completely humilate me but I have to give it a shot anyway. I can't stop thinking about her and it's driving me crazy.
I know she's a lot younger than me, I know she has a life of her own that I'm not a part of, I know she's young and gorgeous and therefor completely out of my league.........but what do I have to lose? I mean, what's the worse case scenario? She laughs in my face, calls me a pervert and throws mud at me every time she sees me? I can live with that.
I can't live with the constant thought of "what if.....?" echoing in my head every time I think of her. Even if I'm shot down, at least I'll know I tried.

I think the "what if" can be your best friend and your worst enemy.. once you lose it you may wish to have it back again At least if the outcome is bad. Then again there is no point in having it in your head constantly if there is no chance whatsoever..
