OK, for fun I checked Sweden's vote:

1. Greece
2. Denmark
3. Norway
4. Bosnia and Herz
5. Malta
6. Swisstonia
7. Serbia and Mont.
8. Latvia
9. Romania
10. Israel

We know that Greece got the 12 points because she is practically Swedish - I would consider this cultural, as the swedes think of her as one of them
Then we see Denmark and Norway on the other top spots, and if it wasnt a swede competing for Greece, we know that those would've been 1 and 2 But the Scandinavians are like the Balkans so can we blame them?
Then 4th comes Bosnia, and we know its not exactly because the song was ABBA-ish, though Im sure it made the swedes happy - it is mainly because Sweden is flooded with Bosnians
Then we finally see some voting that is due to music tastes, the ballads and rock songs.
I am guessing Serbia is so high because of the same reasono as Bosnia - the amount of Serbs in sweden

I absolutely hate this song. Can't get that it was sent to represent Sweden.
If it wasn't for the good singing, Sweden would have finished just after Germany. So, no mercy!

well, it is NOT our fault that there are so little of you- maybe you need someone to come help you 'chop up' Scandinavia into some more countries

Just tell your people to stop complaining - because: "we are more beautiful, and we are more skilled"

well, are you kidding?! That's what proves it - Sweden should've ZERO points, but thanks to the solidarity of the Scandinavians they got a few Why did Macedonia give 6 to sweden beats me! LoL

Filip Kirkorov did a cover of the song in Russian... it was pretty popular, i dunno if it may have spread to Bulgaria, but it may have... it went "Za ya tebya umru"... blech

are you kidding? maybe Antique did cover of Kirkorov song ... maybe both did a cover of something else.... krkorov might have something to do with BG, but people definitelly dont really listen to him so i doubt his cover made it to BG play .... unlike his lovely x-wife, who used to get lots of BG play years agoooooo, as far as i know, she owns it to a bulgarian festival that kicked of her career, but now... Pugacheva

ummm I actually think Serbia was the worst of the balkans... All they did was repeat the same "chorus" thing for 5 times and that was the song. It was boring... And I can't even remember Turkey, i dont usually like Turkish music.
