oh my god, i am in panic, i watched the DvD with my roomate late the other night on his Mac and now i cant find it - hope he still has it!
but as far as i remember Papi said something like: "Rule #1: Papi doesnt do breakfast"
then later she has rule #2: "Papi doesnt go home with a girl whose roomates she bonked this morning" or something similar

which reminds me - how many people that dont live in america actually get everything in the show? i mean it is filled with cultural references, slang... for example how meany people knew what Jenny meant in season 3, when she replied: "I am catching the red-eye tonight" when asked wasnt she supposed to be in NYC?? CAuse i certainly didnt know what a red-eye was before i lived in CA lol

lets see, so the term: "I am taking the redeye" is used by someone flying from California to the East Coast (usually NY) with a flight that leaves CA late at night (Ca being 3 hours behind NY, so if its midnight here it is 3am there) and with a flight time of about 6 hours that would put you in NY sometime in the next morning ... since you probably were uncomfortable and didnt get much sleep, but you arrived in the morning, you're gonna have a day with RED EYES LoL

lots of people fly CA-NY that way and go right to business in the morning

ask any other slang you didnt get, i'd be happy to answer .. if i know it that is

ok, so i thought id give you a little more trivia....

i think without even knowing it, or for whatever reason - lets call it faith - i have been to LA twice in the last couple of months and i have been immersed into the L Word places. First, as i just noticed and stated here, i was making a drunk fool of myself at the Standard downtown, where bette is hanging out at during the opening credits.... then, i just saw this pics:

and i realized i know where that is as well - it's on 3rd street and like La Jolla, close to the Farmer's Market where we had breakfast and coffee.
Also, when we got to LA the first time it was 3am so i didnt get to see the area a lot, but i knew i already love Melrose... and had this weird feeling, the next day we had to drive to UCLA, so when we all got ready i was driving one of the vans (yes, white nasty car rental vans LoL) and so i pulled out of the parking, turned left on Melrose, heading towards Santa Monica and Wilshire and seconds after we've pull out of our hotel i see this weird GREEN building, and i mean green as in covered in green leaves (actual leaves) with huge sign "Fred Segal". I have to admit i cracked myself laughing and everyone in the van was like 'what the fuck'. WHo knew that Famous fred segal (where Leisha's hailey's girlfriend actually works) and the "most famous place where lesbians get lunch in west hollywood" as Alice once told Dana was right there, 2 blocks away.

Then, the other location trivia i wanted to share with you is from episode 1 from season 4. when shane stopped to get more booze, after carmen's cousin pushed her, and on her way to crashing... well, this all happens at an actual L.A. location again. Here is a map where you see where Shane is and where the hollywood sign is at... btw, you can see the hollywood sign from where were staying as well, just not such straight view, it is clear why they chose that location

ok, i am here to report on my LOST episode 2 DvD - ok, so not only does my roomate kill the electricity - here i am loooking for the dvd everywhere, and it is nowhere to be seen and finally i decide to look through the recycling bin, since this and the trash are the only 2 places i havent looked, and what do you know - he put it in the recycling! ahhhhhhhhh, thank god we didnt put it outside yet, my dvd would be gooooooooooooooooneeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! god damn
