Personally, I love Jenny and Shane together...Maybe because I find them the two hottest characters in the show and I've been wanting to see them together since I started watching the series.

Am I the only one who thinks so? At the end of Ep.2 when the tension between them was finally over, I wanted to cry, call my girlfriend and fuck all at the same time. And that doesn't happen often...I think...

Yeah, The camera angles were normal again the second episode...maybe I was just going crazy...not the first time it's happened.

I didn't think of the possibility of Jenny fucking Shane over after making her fall in love with her, but perhaps I underestimated the bitchosity of Jenny. Again, not the first time it's happened.

And as for who kills Jenny? I think.....................Angelica.

Tasha is annoying me too. But yeah, she has the nicest breasts of any of the girls in the show in my opinion. But I like 'em perky.

well apparently I'm the only one offended by the fact that this show is capitalizing on a major news controversy in the states, without even bothering to check their facts before they go and incorporate it into the show and make it revolve around the only FTM character in a major TV series.

The fact that Max is pregnant is absolutely absurd and for a multitude of reasons. The most important one being that it would be nearly physically impossible for him to get pregnant while on Testosterone, especially after taking it for, what are we going on 3+ years now? It's simple biology, T shuts the ovaries down within 4 months of starting HRT (Hormone Replacement Therapy aka T) Trans-guys DO NOT ovulate and if there's no egg, no amount of sperm in the world is going to fertilize a non-existent egg. We also therefore to not have periods, we don't produce the necessary excess blood to have one. Why? Our bodies thanks to injections or skin application of a gel form of Testosterone, have MALE Endocrinologies.

The only way Max could be pregnant is if for some reason, although with this show I wouldn't be surprised, he stopped taking T for an extended period of time, but we're talking about 3 months for a period to return and another 3-6 months for ovulation to begin again. So seriously, it's a fucking retarded, offensive and I might add damaging plot twist. Honestly though, I gave up watching this show a long time ago for the blatant transphobic attitude and I'm sad to see nothing has changed.

Well, it's not that I'm not offended (Max's beard kinda offends me), but since half way through Season 1 I have resigned to the fact that the Lword mainly represents white, upper-middle class, femme lezzies and not much else. I mean after subjecting myself to watching crazy Asian lady attack "I don't wanna be no baby mama to no brown kid" Tina back in Season 1 and the regressive evolution of what was once a well defined character be reduced to Kit "Baby Girl!" Porter; not exclusive to the L word but to see anything resembling myself will only make me disappointed.

Though I must imagine that it really sucking hard for you, you'd expect the "shit representation or no representation" choice to come from non-LGBT shows, but coming from the the L word? FAIL!

Anyways, I can clearly see how the whole 'baby' thing wouldn't work out...But wasn't there that one FtoM trans that got pregnant last year (or maybe earlier, my memory is none too great). Yeah, Max isn't getting alot of love from anyone in the show...Especially Alice, I love Alice's character most of the time, but her getting all bitchy because of the podcast thing, WTF?!

Well, The L Word is one of the first 'mainstream' series specifically about lesbians, so we can't expect it to be perfect. I've watched an episode of "Exes & Oh's" on Logo and I liked it alot...Maybe I will switch over to that series if I'm dissapointed of this season of The L Word.

Yes, that is the story they are completely taking advantage of without checking their facts. The guy that got pregnant went off hormones for several months and then had invitro done because his wife wasn't capable of having children. However the number of FtM that's have children after going through transition is less than 1% and completely not representative of the community as a whole.

Besides the other thing I forgot to mention is that if Max was going for a consultation to have bottom surgery, he would have already had a Hysterectomy done at least 6 months prior to it. So there again it would be IMPOSSIBLE for him to be pregnant.

What they should have done is called someone like Loren Cameron or James Green and asked them to be a consultant, so that they could get the information correct and accurately portray an FtM, without fucking over our entire political movement.

I agree, I think the trans community is severely undertone in The L Word. I mean it's a huge step that a show has a trans as a major character, but if all the "facts" are completely fucked-up it's probably just as bad as having no inclusion whatsoever....

i watched episode 3. its like they think the series is coming to an end, lets just make up some boring crap and put it together in a story line thats as mindnumbingly boring as possible.

the acting is so wooden this season. i have half a mind to not bother watching the rest of the [very short] season anyway

and as for the main plot -- who killed jenny ? who cares ! who would want to kill her anyway ?

Oh I think it was mindnumbingly boring for quite some time now. Season 5 was the exception.

I still think Jenny's great though but she's even better with Kate French. Aside from the hotness, their lines last season was great, and whatever little time is given to Nikki this season, French manages to utilize it, IMHO. I the loved her sincere delivery of "Seriously Jenny, Shane only went down on me."
Playing somebody that vapid so well is a mark of genius.

Anyhoo I hope she stinks around longer, I enjoy her scenes as much as Jenny, together they are the last saving grace of the L Word.

In the meantime, I'm going to enjoy the fluff while it lasts.

seriously, i still havent finished watching episode 3.... too much to catch up- now when i go to the falcon- it is impossible to watch... and then i never have time to do it online.... though i have to admit- other years, id be waiting for a new episode... now im like: "eh, whatever.." i still love jenny... shane actually looks BAD this season- who the fuck cut her hair?!?!?! it looks ridiculous... alice is still in my top 3 as well... but her story with taaasha is sooooooooooo boooooooooooooring!

It has weekly updates of The L Word. It's not much help to me as I have Showtime, but for those less fortunate, the vids are incredibly high quality. Enjoy.

P.S. There are four different subtitles to choose from: Greek (Not sure why...), English, French, and Spanish.

i just went to get coffee with a friend of mine @ Larchmont Village... and he was telling me stories of when he used to work in hollywood back in the day.... he said sibyl shepherd was such a bitch! once, she REFUSED to get out of the trailer, because her personal hair stylist wasnt there... so they send the PA to buy jewery and $300 flower arrangement to try to convince her to GET OUT and DO her fucking job!

Yesterday , we were in LA....no..kidding....we were in Paris in the Fnac...a kind of discs, videos shop like Virgin Megastore..and it was a promotion for the sale of the Season 5 of LWOrld in DVD.

I think that all the homosexuals of Paris were there!...a crazy crowd!...but we could take some pictures...
