Sky Captain And The World Of Tomorrow - sci-fi, adventure. Filmed against the blue screen, so everything around is computer generated. Well, I can understand that it would be quite impossible to create such stunts and scenes manually but you can actually feel and see that the environment is cartoonish. Lots of grey colours used and that wasn't very pleasant for the eye.
The story is okay. A prodigy scientist from Germany has been developing technology to create Noah's Arc during several decades in a total secrecy in the middle of nowhere. The best minds from the planet were forced to work at this project which would leave the planet without any future. Jude Law is Sky Captain and is on his way to find this professor and rescue the world. |

Sky Captain And The World Of Tomorrow sounds interesting, forre.
 Lost in translation I haven't seen but it sounds pretty crap. I didn't like The Ring 1 or 2 or the Japanese originals (too boring). I gotta admit Naomi Watts is sexy though. Her face is really beautiful and hot.

I finally got to see Dogville, a bleak and unforgiving parable on the human condition. I thought it was even darker than Lilja 4-ever and Dancer In the Dark, though the unsentimentality by which it's delivered would get you to think rather than sit back and feel miserable. It's almost flawless visually, full of symbolic imagery and the ending is somewhat shocking as well.
Very good movie, and Nicole Kidman is almost angelic in there - which serves the point of the film pretty well. |

Just finished watching "What Dreams May Come". At first I almost turned it off again since I thought it was kinda weird. But decided not to since I would at least be able to rate it afterwards. Glad I did.. after a while I started to enjoy the ride. I even ended up fighting a few tears
 Think I'll be giving it a 8/10 at imdb.com. |
