http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oHiDN...elated&search= well this is the Bulgarian finalist... LoL .... umm yeah

second place at the national final: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6uCSSDwmj2Y - if you cannot sing in english dont do it.. in fact if you cant sing live dontdo it lol ... at least they have some stage thing going on, the winners are DEAD stage, with the little girl running behind the drums so the camera cannot even see her lol
third place: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xx1Vj...elated&search= - why the fuck should we be sending bulgarians singing in russian? with horrible accent! i mean,,,, lol.... they are trying to get something going on stage as well, but it is soooooo cheesy LoL, just like the whole BG Chalga pop/folk reality anyway.... so i guess its ok

omg, and i wanted to say that TURKEY just blows everyone away, i am thinking once again it is time to take Eurovision to Ankara! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3FF4W...elated&search= - i cant find live performance, but the video is cool - i saw the movie the Sound of Istanbul last summer and it was great, this song reminds me of it... not to mention that turkey and esp Istanbul is a fucking hot destination right now!

Les Wampas made a sucky song, I'm pretty disappointed cuz' this band is original, funny and crazy and this time they're "flat"

I'll wait to see the finished article ie the final selections and not the preselections because they don't mean anything.

I don't know if has been posted but Cyprus decided that Evridiki ( for the third time, I think ) will represent Cyprus. Not only that, but they decided that the song will be sung in French and also it's got a distinct europop flavour i.e. It's not bad! I think they might turn to pop/electronica this year which I prefer to the posing old-fashioned hard rock of the last 2 years.
I hope they don't change it a lot, maybe just the ending which is a bit abrupt to fit the 3 minute rule , but here's an early version:

http://youtube.com/watch?v=tQMtaNzYHDI

I'd like to see Evridiki ( or Euridice, more anglosised ) get revenge for Kate Ryan last year. This is what Kate should have done with her song ( not compromise it to fit the "eurovision" sound as she did ).
So, I haven't listened to the other songs, but is there anything to top Cyprus at all? It's funny how the Greeks have turned from zeros to heroes in recent years...total transformation

The song is written by Korgialas, he's a very promising new Greek singer/songwriter who had a very big hit last year in Greece:

That style didn't work for Russia last year and I don't think it will work for Finland this year...so anything else to top Cyprus' super catchy europop offering

...except for the Cypriot entry, which is really rather good. Singing in French is a very brave decision, though.

Just having the title in French was enough to prevent Kate Ryan advancing to the final, according to haku. Singing in French should guarantee 12 points from France, but nul points from a number of countries I can think of. I don't know that it was compromising to sound more Eurovision that did for Kate. Wasn't it still too contemporary for the audience? It took thirty years for hard rock to win Eurovision, it might take as long for the audience to feel comfortable with electronic music.

It didn't take hard rock 30 years to win Eurovision it took them 2 years LOL ( if you know what I mean )
Electronic music is more accessible imo...I wonder if there any other similar songs this year or is it just Cuprus?
But if Cyprus is succesful this year maybe the next there will be more to follow.

I didn't know that "Hellas" hasn't picked the song that is going to Eurovision yet, but apparently the selection is now on Greek national channel NET and I ended up watching it
I hope I last the full excrutiating 3 hours...I hear they will have a few special guests ( entries from other countries who will perform )
They got this guy from Romania's last year's entry now...how many times has he lip synched to Tornero?
The guy has some vocal range apparently - would rivar Mariah Carey easily

it's had been said that the next german popstars band "Monrose" want to anticipate for the eurovision 07 with the song "Even heaven cries"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SAIRZM7CYWQ
(a performance from that song during a tv show)

but the audience have to decide in march or whatever who will go to eurovision...don't know which other bands want to be at that specific show.

"Monrose" are the new "No Angels" (most successfully german girlgroup in europe who splitted 2004 but are now back again*yeah**lol*) I don't like Monrose but "Even heaven cries" is the best song from their album.
I want Stefan Raab back on stage ("Wadde hadde du de da"!!*lol*)
~~~~~~~~~~~
www.project-tatu.de.vu will be online until march. The fansite about t.A.T.u.s musicans and their old and future projects.
I found some time to make the design, just the informations and extras taking some time.
DJ bobo from Switzerland "Vampires Are alive" is the official entry and they've just appeared in the Greek selection show, and it's another dance song with electro elements - it's even more threatrical than Cyprus, the group are straight from a freak show.
So yeah that is another strong candidate I think, and this is the trend of this year. I think lots of people who like electropop/dance will be pleased.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9-dDxp8Cez0
for me it was predictable, I was also thinking why it hasn't happened all this time...though I prefer cyprus to this one
The first candidate for the song for Greece is shocking, some Armenian dude
and Tapta is just a candidate but I though they picked her up already
And she sings some rubbish ballad with eastern elements and she's way off tune. 2 performers so far and neither is Greek
some freaking joke this
Greece will completely bomb this year jugding from this rubbish. If they choose this one I expect relegation
Dantis is now on stage ( guy who wrote my Number 1 ) and sings a "rock 'n' roll" song "You're no Madonna" and it sucks beyond comprehension.
Now on stage the Belarus ( is it the first time ) entry , music by Philip Kirkorov
It's a Ricky Martin type of song, a bit weak in my opinion. Still better than any of the songs in the Greek preselection.
now the Bulgarian entry. They went for the ethnic disco , it's pretty quirky but cool actually
So the surprise happened! It's neither Tamta or Dantes but the other kid, Sarbel with Yiassou Maria ( what a silly title ). The song is "shake It" part 2. To be honest the other two songs were even worse and this one is at least catchy.
I predict a very deserved flop for Greece this year. They need new ideas.
But perhaps it can grab a qualifying place for next year since this formula has worked before...and the guy's pretty comfortable on stage.
coolasfuck were you serious when you said Turkey blows everybody away? That song won't even get in the top 10!!! It's a very monotonous rap over a repetitive beat, no way Eurovision material. I thought your tastes in music were better. Wasn't impressed when I heard it a few weeks ago and I'm not impressed now.
If Bulgaria don't make the final then I know absolutely f*** all about Eurovision
and if Eurovision goes to Ankara or Istanbul or whatever with THAT song then I know f*** all about music
The group is in Greece now where they presented the song ( got very good reviews by everybody in Greece ) and they're in talks with a Greek stage production company about their stage show. If they alter their stage show into something more spectacular this is going to cruise this year's contest. The song really deserves it so I hope they present it as it ought to be.
They need more people on stage.
As a song in itself, it blows Ruslana away everytime but it needs a better presentation.
She should come flying from the top of the stage on those angel wings
The girl said yesterday on a Greek morning tv program that she feels "fantastic" being in Greece cause everybody has embraced them so I just hope they do something good about their song now.
This song has to win this year.
