It became also known that it will be a slow, gothic song. If you're going to decrease your boredom by trying to make up your own rumor, at least try making it look legitimate, people. That post has too much funky engrish and also too much "Lena fanboys wet dream" all over it too.
But we obviously all know Lena's album will be titled "tap me, simply... I am SEXUAL BABY" and will debutte with the lead single featuring ex-serebro Marina Turkeyminovvlkghlfmj plus a recycled, unheard, but very deep song from Happy Smiles era "song about cow and orange waterfall". Cough.
I swear if someone copies and pastes that on tatu.ru and passes it off as a rumor, I will stuff their pillows with old watermelons.

Anyway, back to the real world, according to Troy's obviously real twitter, Lena has apparently performed her "best vocals yet". I can't wait to hear them!

I think they did. I remember listening to it on YouTube a while ago.

I always listened to "I Know" demos from Lena myself. But when it comes to this solo/band project, I doubt they'd want to recycle old material, especially since Troy's been talking so much about how they've been working so hard on new songs and ideas. It would be interesting if they made updated versions of those old demos for Lena's project as filler tracks on the album, but they probably won't do that.

I like the music arrangement but I'm too used to Lena's sweet and cutesy voice singing it. I suppose Valeria's more mature and rougher voice suits it though.

It wouldn't make much sense to 'cover' two Valeriya songs a year or two after her releases, although not so hard to do. The copyright restrictions are far less than in the west (hm, are there any? ).

Comparison between the two of them isn't fair. After all Valeriya can really sing, while Lena...well, I don't want to begin a discussion what she is able to do...

Pffft Lena can sing occasionally! Well, neither Lena or Yulia have a voice that exceeds 2 octaves and in some cases it sounds like they aren't even trying, but... Minus a select live performances they've sounded nice enough. Any average person can sound good one moment and awful the next - especially me - but then that's where vocal coaching comes along. Which I think it was mentioned Lena has one now? Woo!

And over here "In the good ol' west~~" music is recovered all the time. Well, it's not an uncommon concept for a major record company to find a random "hit" song in Europe or Asia, and then have their product/artist "sing it" while trying to hide the fact that it's a cover as much as possible.

Well Lena has one advantage. These song were made for her and Yul. While Valerias voice doesn't suit them IMO. It does sound like tatu cover. And I like Lena's demo
versions more.
