It was written by the admin of her forum that this won't be on the album either. These songs were recorded and then decided not to use it for the album. The admin also wrote that Yulia is still in recording process.

It still isn't good. I knew the first two songs released weren't going to be on the album as well, but I wasn't sure about this one. Hmm. If she's still recording, I'm wondering whether she's going to be performing these songs she's already recorded as well next week despite not being on the album. Yulia needs to add some bass to that voice! That "trying-to-sound-sexy-by-singing-like-a-baby-cat" voice again, doesn't blend much with the music of the song. How much material has she recorded? I guess they're just releasing these to give us a taste on what to expect.

I can see two reasons.

1. To give the fans something anything to help keep them interested after a very long wait. This way they can feed fans the odd morsel without finding themselves in the situation where everybody has heard the entire album before it is even finished. I do admit that I found the timing of this one interesting given what was happening in the Lena camp yesterday.

2. Julia is in that unusual position of having a ready made established and loyal fan base, even thought she has not released anything yet. So why not make use of it to do a little market testing, release the odd experimental demo and get some free feedback that you can use to help determine the direction of the "real" songs.

From what I have heard these are the 3 demos that were talked about last summer, and they were experimenting with her sound. That does fit with the songs that are quite different in style.

Of the thee songs Stand Up is for me the weakest. Rage had that real "Volkova sound" from Sparks/Fly on the Wall, while Woman All the Way Down was quite interesting musically, but did not make best use of her voice. This one seems to be an attempt at a full-on rock sound, but again the voice just isn't there, although her accent sounded strongest in this one. So it's a mixed bag, but the potential is there, hopefully they will make good use of what they have learned from these experiments, and are able to bring this potential to reality.

Yulia's project is no different from nor ex-t.A.T.u.' or Lena's. Brazil Gay Day performance got cancelled. Why leave t.A.T.u. if you will go on the same way?

Absolutely, that is almost too sad/true for the fun of being sarcastic now. Hope it makes Yulia only realize she has to do more. Sure, those things can always happen, but it shows that your manager shouldn't maybe! just blindly accept great offers, but check personally or with the help of (existing?) connections what's up with that. I don't know if professionals can foresee these things, at least double-check, even if you - especially as a starting point - want to grab every chance you can get.
It's a huge bummer for Yulia. I'm sorry for her, but she'll get over it and hopefully learns faster that she has to put everything (and more + x) into this if she doesn't want it (her career aka her life) to fail.

Wow... I wasn't going to see her, but that's sure shocking. The fans are so mad at our country, they understand it's not Yulia's fault... At least.

I just hope she'll be OK... I'm very worried about the things she may do because of this. I just hope there's no more surgery involved. And I'm not joking or trying to be funny, I mean it.
